I've encountered occassional problems with links containing characters like "^" and "§" not being displayed (i.e. parsed by the forum software) correctly, so I decided to put the solution to it in the proper place:
Click on "Edit" and you'll see the "[/url]" bit somewhere in the middle of the actual URL. Cut it out and paste it in its proper place at the end of the URL. Save changes.
It's that simple :)
