Need Help

Hi all,
I live in Japan were there is little news or any type of information about the Israeli-Arab conflict. I have been reading the threads in this section but still cannot get a picture of what happening in the other side of the world.
If some can be generous enough to summarize quickly the situtation or tell me where i can find a good reliable source on this issue.
