Hi all,

It's really a pleasure to announce that Sharonbn has agreed to take on a leadership role in this forum as Moderator.

Sharonbn brings a unique perspective to our team of Moderators as an Israeli with army service and as a current resident of Israel. He is a particularly bright and articulate individual with superb analytical skills. He broadens the range of political ideas from which we hope to benefit, and he offers a deep understanding of Israeli politics and society.

We wish him good luck and fun.

This appointment completes the current round of team-building to serve the forum's expansion. I have observed all our Moderators to be not only well-informed and capable of providing top-notch service to our community, but also able to serve as leaders and as ambassadors of goodwill for all of us.

I am also taking this opportunity to thank all of our members for their contribution to our community. We are very fortunate to have attracted a great bunch of members -- head and shoulders above what one would find in other forums. Thank you one and all.

We look forward to drawing on you for the next round of leadership expansion.

Sincerely,

NewsGuy and the Israel Forum team.

Well, Mr. Pumps, I thank you.
However, I do not call myself a military man. I did serve in the IDF for 7 years, but not in a combatant unit...
