Can anybody verify something for me? True or false:
There have been no suicide bombs in Israel since September 11?
If this is true, which I think it is, isn't that interesting? Perhaps Arafat has given orders to perform any terrorist acts, like shooting, but to stay away from suicide bombings? Please let me know if you know, so we can push this message.

Sorry to say that the international press and the IDF have reported plenty (maybe a dozen) of thrawted attempts at suicide bombings, as well as other Islamic terrorist attempts to murder Israeli civilians.
Like in nearly all Muslim countries, suicide bombings and mass murder is still a main part of the palestinians' strategy and has not changed.

Thanks Solon,
I have heard many reports about "thwarted attempts" since September 11, but I can't necessarily that there are more thwarted attempts now than there were before September 11. Is it possible that the frequency of the attempts is lessened because of Arafat clamping down bombing attempts on the terrorist groups? From what I understand, the only reason why suicide bombers get in is because many are sent - many don't make it through.
I guess my point is that looking at the trend of suicide attacks (http://tvaisrael.freeyellow.com/terrorhits.html) has a list, they seem to stop dead on September 11 (other than the many shooting attacks, which for some reason haven't been listed on the site). Why is it that there are suicide bombs every two weeks until September 11 and then suddenly...none for two months. Seems strange to me. Does anybody else agree?
