At long last, Israel is starting to move beyond Arafat's lies and even the U.S. finally understands that appropriate action against terrorism must be taken in Arafatistan.

The PLO, as well as the other Palestinian terrorist organizations must be declared as Enemies of Israel and decisive military action taken against them.

At the same time senior Israeli officials are confirming that there are, in fact, successors for Arafat and it is now more important than ever to make it known that no Arab dictatorship will be allowed to stand if it chooses to perpetrate terrorism on its neighbors, or if it allows Islamic extremists to operate within its jurisdiction.

It is obvious that it is impossible to find and kill each and every terrorist, and so, taking actions that will serve as deterrents to future terrorist acts is necessary.

The sooner decisive military action and deterrence is accomplished, the sooner Israel and its Arab neighbors will be able to get back to negotiating a lasting peace.

To Finally a real response,

Well all I've seen so far is a few buildings and a couple of Russian Helicopters blown up. So far it dosn't even come close to a payment for innocent human lifes that was lost, in fact no amount of retaliation could ever balance the scale. I think at this point all Arafat is worried about is having to give up his position as the head terrorist. Bet there's a lot of western *** kissing going on right now by the PLO. I think for the most part Europeans are Palestinian sympetisers and the US just got painted into a corner so they had to back Sharon based on sheer logic. I hope this is the end of Arafat and his terrorists but I dont think so. I hope I'm wrong. If this escalates into something bigger the UN will come down on Sharon. It's pretty obvious that Annan is not pro- jewish based on his past actions. Further I'm certain that other Muslim countries will be in there squaking about their mistreated brothers.

True.

Like I wrote, "At long last, Israel is starting to move beyond Arafat's lies..." Starting, but not nearly finished.

I think that the Palestinians 'aint seen nothing yet.

Without the U.S. restraining Israel, a real war against Palestinian terrorism can proceed.

The US Media, especially FOX, is hawking on it bigtime. This was the wrong time to pull that kind of crap and have 300 million angry Americans watching it. I for one wouldn't shed a tear for Palestine if the IDF rolled armor into the west bank and reduced it to rubble, and drove ever last Arab right the hell out of there.
