he gave a speech in montreal.

that guy is awesome, in hearing him speak, it makes it seem that even though israel has sooo many enemies who desperately want to destroy it, israel's support from the states is at least as strong as its enemies hatred of it.
he is as pro-israel as anyone on this forum, he kepy saying how much he has personnally disliked yassir arafat for years now, (making the crowd go wild each time), and explained just how irrelant, and or evil he is. he kept saying how much he admires israel, its people, its democracy and the ideals it has, stuff like that.
he said stuff along the lines of america would never cease acting to its principles, no matter how many terrorsits attacks it receives, and one of its principles is defending israel.

i honestly don't understand how non-jewish people can be as principled as this, defending israel so passionately like that, despite how many enemies it has.
i think from now on, whenever i see some kind of editorial written by some leftist who says america and the right are evil and stuff like that, (there's a lot of such talk at my university) im gonna try to write in and defend the states like i would defend israel.

the event was put togather by jewish hillel canada, and the italian business assosciation, and one of the points stressed was for the italian community to support israel.

the whole thing was really cool, that guy is so likable and and human and honorable, and his stint is new york showed just how much he can accomplish. i really hope that guy becomes president of the states one day.

Thank G-d there are a few valiant non-Jews in support of Israel. Alan Keyes, Rush Limbaugh, and John Loftus, a remarkable person! You might want to check out his website. http://www.john-loftus.com/

I was surprised by Rumsfields support today, and no sooner had he said this, the State Dept. here is flipping out rushing to take care of damage control with the saudis.

Yes, Rudy is all right! Rumor has it that he ordered Arafat out of a performance a few years back, at Carnegie Hall I believe. According to an interview with him, he "claimed the privilege" he had as the Mayor, to not have to sit in the same hall as the arch-terrorist

I also want to mention that the organization of the September 11th evacuation of the whole City was awesome! The bridges and tunnels were closed to traffic and commercial ferries were co-opted to run back and forth between NJ and NYC, in order to accommodate everyone possible. Everything was so well organized and put together, that no one I know has had real difficulty with getting home that day - other than having to walk a lot.
