Is it a truth or is it a hoax?

many would say that islam has gone wrath, and in almost any other religon there is some sort of battle with islam...


Biddahism - Muslims desecrated there holy statues.
Hindusim - Muslims and Hindus fight over Kashmir
Chritianity - Still no sort of truce after the crusade
Judaism - no regonition of a 50,000 km jewish state
Islam itself - ****te Vs. Islam.


Is it true or is it false..Maybe we have made them like this or maybe it was because of the 21st century ordeal.

To start with a detail: the Christian crusades were also an act of aggression against Muslims. What exactly should the truce be about?

I know too little about the conflicts with Hindus and Buddhists, in case of Israel and Jews in general, my overall impression is that we should rather look for political, ideological reasons, rather that the religious ones in the raditional sense. The term "Islamofascism" is IMO the more accurate one: a fascist mindset, easily recognizable as such for anyone acquainted with European history of the 20th century, spreading through the Muslim world - yes, using traditional Islamic rhetoric, but basically hijacking the religion for political purposes.

But this only happened in the 19th century, when they were 'occupied' by colonial powers. There was no 1 country in the Islamic world or even the arab world that was independent back then. Most were in the hands of the Turkish empire. The funny things is that the mother of all the islamic terrorist; the Muslim brotherhood, rejected Islamic colonialist, because of how the treatment went in the ottaman empire.... They thought along Britian in the great "Battle of Gaza"

The crusade didnt bring a war...but brought 1500 years of un-reconcilation between muslims and chrtians.

I guess in some ways, the jews made peace with the chritians, no?

What does that mean. The notion of even having modern nations with borders that encompass multiple city states, regions, languages and histories is barely 200 years old. Italy was a warring collection of little kingdoms until the 1850's. Germany was a confederation until Bismarck. Arab states or nations from the 13th C. through Napolean's invasion of Egypt were individual kingdoms, emirates and whatnot. (With the possible exception of India which was ruled as a large Islamic state for hundreds of years) Within each of those metropolitan city states they clearly ruled as Islamic states.

The history of the Middle East from the inception of Islam is the history of cities not countries. It is not until the 20th C. there is any discussion of modern nations in the commonly understood sense.

I remember in (I think) 1984, the general secretary of the UN at that time Khafear Pieres De'Cuilar gave a talk in the opening of the Supreme Conference of Islamic Nations. In front of over 30 presidents, king, and prince of Islamic countries, he said his very famous word:

"Please solve your (i.e. Islamic) problems, because your problems are 95% of the World's problems" !

I think the main issue is that Islam (by nature) doesn't accept the other. It considers everyone else as infidel. If it was till this, that would be fine. So what? Even Christianity considers Muslims infidels. But the problem is that Islam orders his followers to fight these infidels. So, it's not only does it reject the concept of "the other", but fights it.

It's not that simple. It has to do with power. Power + Zealotry = a great big problem.

Shinto priests in Japan have a great deal of power (as a nation) but little zealotry for example.

Radical French Catholics have a great deal of zealotry but little power.

Arab mullahs and fundamentalists have both. Great Big Problem.

The problem is that the CORE of Islam is based on this concept. Reformation can't do any good for it. It has to vanish completely.

I would never declare Pakistan an allie!

After all, mr. Musharaf, with his military uniform said that the Israel-India pact was runining Middle East/Islamic Stability.

That i call very odd.

it is a sort of fear that they get in Pakistan.. They see militans and then they blame it on us.

Actually the problem for Islam is the violent way in which it was established. Muhammad himself was a violent person. Many people say the bastardization of Islam is the problem. "Pure" Islam was founded in violence, and the Koran puts out a call for violence against "infidels." The majority of muslims in the U.S. do not share the ideology of the radical mullahs and imams in the Middle East, who preach "pure" Islam. The world needs more people to "distort" Islam, or the world will have a huge problem.
