Iran is as strait as a board compared to Afganistan and some parts of Pakistan, as I understand it. Arabs also don't have a special cultural predilection toward buggery (= typically manifest in child/teen abuse). The Pashtuns... that is another matter. This BTW, I've heard from a Punjabi Pakistani  .

How childish can you get? Men hugging and rubbing cheeks has nothing to do with their sexual leanings. And why is it that a country which celebrates homosexuality in parades and television shows looks upon this sort of display as an indicator of greater levels of homosexuality? I doubt that whether homosexuality is openly publicly endorsed or not affects the levels a great deal. You either are or you aren't. It's not many people that are going to switch sides whether it's acceptable or not. After all, heterosexuality is acceptable and there are still homosexuals in every single culture.

I'm not referring to consensual homosexuality. There is a culture of child abuse, read into that. It's not only there BTW, there are other places where it's bad. And it has nothing to do with religion per se. It's not a big secret either.
And they don't even drink. But all those "Democratic" leaders love their affection not only to be public but also genuine.

A culture of child abuse? And what isn't a culture of child abuse? India? Where millions are aborted for the crime of being girls? Where there is child slavery? Uganda, where children are forced to kill their parents before being sent out as child soldiers? Peru where they have child labor? Mexico? Where girls are raped, doused with gasoline and burned to death? Are you implying somehow that Westerners have freed themselves of child abuse, child pornography, child slavery? Think again.
Or Iran where officially there is NO HOMOSEXUALITY!!!!!

Strange thing with these Muslims, it's perfectly ok for men to kiss other men on the cheeks but do that to a woman, at least in highly conservative places, and you could lose your head.
And that beard must have tickled ooooooooooo so gently... kinky.
