Interesting poll, though I'm not sure how 40% qualifies as "most residents."
It would be in Israel's interests to subsidize the emigration of these poor unhappy people.

They should. I hear the tunnels are wide open for them to get out to Egypt. And they are still welcome in quite a few places in N. Africa.

Of course, we can have no doubts that the article lied about more than just calling 40% a majority, since it's obvious and well-known that when they say "immigrate", they mean immigrate to the West.

Escape Hamas more likely.

Why? What's wrong with Hamas?

Escape Hamas more likely.

They ARE Hamas.

Should Isarel take them in? Are these the same people that voted for Hamas?

They are un-repatriated Egyptian citizens, their only place is in Egypt.

No, that would be demographic suicide for Israel. By the way, 40% of Gaza and 25% of the West Bank population is roughly 1.2 million people (roughly 30% of the population in the territories).

I imagine some voted for Hamas and some didn't.

Does it make a difference how many people it is?

I didnt' vote for Obama. Should I demand exemption from his taxes and the laws he may propose?

Not to me. My original point was that we should encourage voluntary Arab emigration.

Steven asked me if these people seeking to emigrate support Hamas. My only point was that some do and some don't. Don't try to read anything more into that.

I wish we could do a swap for all neighboring Christians and Druse and other friendly minorities with these hate mongers. House for house. Initially the fakistinians would be very well off, ultimately we would benefit. I wonder how many Egyptian Copts would opt for a house swap in Gaza with our protection and citizenship? Or how may Leb Maronites and Druse for our fakestinians in the triangle and Samaria.

I say we should send them to Europe and teach those mamzers a lesson.
Maybe send a few to Plains, Georgia for Jimmy Carter as well.

Why would they do that? They would love to throw them out and the Jews. They won't settle for less and the fact that it hasn't happened yet is not for lack of trying ;) Look how they destroyed Lebanon.

Iran claims to LOVE Palestinians. Offer to pay for Palestinian transportation to Iran. Of course Iran would accept these Palestinians with open arms! :stick:

I would have been interested in hearing a follow up question of where they would like to emigrate to. What would their favored destination?

Tonto

That would be what should be done. Transport all arab residents of Gaza to the ME country of their choice as long as it's not Israel, Lebanon, Egypt or Jordan. Iran would be optimum......or Saudi Arabia. Let them deal with the idiots they have raised these people to be. That would be very much fun I think.

My only worry is, what should be done if they don't want to leave Gaza? I'm just thinking here about Israel's public image, because this would give all the anti-zionists and lefties an extra excuse to berate Israel for its actions again.

Hey i am from Germany and i am new here.
So i think the Hirstory is that Israel grounded about Germany.
If we didnt have the bad History i dont believe that Israel would be exist today.

So if some palestines want emigrate, they should come and get asylum if they are in right.

If someone wanna know what germans thinks about the Gaza war, go to this Link, its interesting but in german

so translate with systran or google

thanks guys
