Fight is between Christianity, Islam: Pak clerics
REUTERS [ MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 09, 2002 8:00:46 AM ]
KARACHI: A right-wing Islamic alliance kicked off its poll campaign in Pakistan on Sunday by denouncing military ruler General Pervez Musharraf as a US stooge and saying Muslims were in a fight with Christianity.
Addressing a charged gathering of 5,000 supporters in Karachi, Maulana Sami-ul-Haq, a leader of the six party Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal (MMA), accused US President George W Bush of deliberately targeting Muslim states like Afghanistan and Iraq.
"It's a fight between Cross and Islam which has started with the US attack on Afghanistan," he said.
"We will have to establish in this election that we are against Bush and his partner-in-crime Mush," he said, referring to President Musharraf.
Haq's Muslim seminary in Pakistan's North West Frontier Province produced hundreds of recruits for the former Taliban regime in neighbouring Afghanistan, which sheltered the al-Qaeda network blamed for the September 11 attacks on the United States.

Actually I think that the clerics have it somewhat correct. I certainly see it as a crusade between Judaism, Christianity and Islam Fundamentalists. I think Bush had it right when he referred to it as a crusade way back when.
I do wish that the alliance between Judaism and Christianity would be firmer across the board but I don’t believe that will happen.
Israel, the US and the West are fighting the same battle against Radical Islam even if many westerners are too dumb to see it that way.

This is what I have been trying to say all along.
That true Islam is the one espoused by Maulana Sami-ul-Haq.
There is no such thing as a peaceful Islam, a moderate Islam, etc.
It is time to recognize that it is a medieval murderous cult with no redeeming features.
Much is made of the fact that "Islam is the fastest growing religion."
That is a load of poppycock. I have no doubt that muslim population the world over has increased. But, how much of this increase in muslims' is due to an intrinsic increase in populations and how much due to new adherents??
India grew from 330 million in 1947 to 1000+ million today. Does that mean that being Indian is popular?? :D
I am sure the Chinese statistic is the same. Does that mean that being chinese is popular?
Islam, much like AIDS, is spreading at an alarming rate throughout the world. Does that mean AIDS is good? Popular?
So is teenage sex, smoking, child molestation etc. I suppose all of these vile activities are "good" and popular, eh?
Islam has succeeded in converting the dregs of Western society and a few exceptions (which i am sure some one like Manuel will be glad to name) DO NOT PROVE the rule.
The sooner the rest of the civilized world realizes that Islam poses a great risk to it. That like a scourge, Islam will not rest until is destroys everything it see, the better off we will be in our fight against this greatest challenge that humankind has known.
The solution is to isolate Islam. Kick them out of the US, India and every non-muslim country. They can stay in their own islamic paradises and reap the 72 virgins that that perverted Muhammad promises them. Soon enough, like the medieval barbaric religion it is, its followers will turn on each other.
The main point is this: QUARANTINE!!!
You dont let a rabid dog loose on the streets.
You dont let a person infected with Ebola loose on the streets.
QUARANTINE. And nothing else. No action against muslims. Note very carefully THAT I AM NOT ADVOCATING VIOLENCE AGAINST MUSLIMS. On the contrary, I am saying that we should isolate ourselves from this scourge through peaceful means.
I hope the world wakes up in time.

Quarantine is one way to deal with the situation but I don’t think it’ll happen.
The cry of racism strikes fear in the hearts of all (not I said the little red hen) people are afraid of being labeled racists. These days if you even dare label Islam a religion that spawns murderous killers.
Racial profiling is illegal because some document says its so. The people that drafted the document had no way to foresee what lay ahead and I’m certain that if they did things would be different.

How dare those people who died in WTC harbor bad thoughts about Arabs. How evil of them.

Why are there not any efforts to make a para-military force booth for people will tho take up arms and fight agianst the palestinians and shipout to Israel as a foriegn unit.
If a Jewish person asked me to fight for Israel, I would ask "where is my gun and ammo?" and since I fire off multiple guns I do have alot of shooting experience.
Thousands of Americans would be willing to take up arms for Israel, but the IDF or the Jewish community does'nt ask for it from fellow Christians.
A foriegn unit screened extensively and willing to fight.
Three centuries ago and just a few kilometers from where I live now, nothing would have make Christians more happy than watching Jews being slowing consumed by fire in a stick on the public square. But it was nothing new. So many times it had happened that it became a tradition like many others.
I wonder how many Jews (and non-Christian Gentiles), back then and before, believed that, although hatred is wrong, it was justified to hate a Christian, that Christianity should be fought and that it should be erradicated.
Never mind me. I'm just a dumb westerner.

Manuel: Post # 144,

.............it was the policies of those Israeli governments that pursued Hawkish policies that are to blame for terrorism throughout the world,...............
Manuel: Current Thread, Post # 11
Where in my posts have I justified attacks against Jews?
Hello!! Are we being disingenuous today!! It is "Israeli" (note how the anti-semites always use Israelis instead of Jews, so very politically correct), that is the cause of terror throughout the world
Jews are the cause of terror throughout the world. (Manuels' comment)
Jews killed Christ. (Comments made by Manuels' forefathers and muslims)
Jews are the source of evil.
Anyone else see the pattern????????????? Or is it just the dumb-old hindu me  .
Are we going to see another one of Manuels' famous last post? Especially after being so thoroughly exposed. I would not rule it out. Intellectualme has returned and has famously avoided his "Pakistanis are good, they did not help the Taliban or Bin-Laden, they do not support terrorism" after being thoroughly discredited for that remark by yours truly, the friendly neighbourhood hindu :D .

I thought I joined IsraelForum not anti-IslamForum.
To put this in context, let me re-phrase danholos' comment in MY words:
"I thought I joined the IsraelForum not anti-NaziForum"
What I am getting at, danholo, is that Israels' security lies in recognizing that its fight is indeed against Islam. The koran has numerous references that I've have seen on websites referring to Jews as treacherous, cunning, monkeys and pigs. The hatred of the muslim for the Jew springs from the Koran.
I think more and more Jews are realizing that now. If the Jews keep trying to be PC, a la Dubya ( Our fight is not against Islam), they will most certainly incur the risk of another Holocaust.

Actually... IMO, this is certainly a very apt observation.
My eldest son had an interesting homework assignment in his Social Studies class: they had to paraphrase the 18 Principles on which the Jesuit Order was founded. Principle 13 read something like this: "if the Church says that the sky is black, then it is - even if your own eyes are telling you that it's white!" Made me rather queasy, especially when we consider the political power the Jesuit Order had in its time!

Just a little humor to lighten the day!
A Pakistani Ambassador to the UN just finished giving a speech, and walks out into the lobby where he met President Bush. They shook hands and walked together in the long verandah when suddenly the Pakistani said, "You know, I have just one question about what I have seen in America."
President Bush says "Well your Excellency, anything I can do to help you, I will do."
The Pakistani whispers, "My son watches this show 'Star Trek' and in it there are Russians, and Blacks, Chinese, Japanese and Indians but never any Pakistani, Afghani or Arabs. So my son is very upset. He doesn't understand nor do I about why there aren't any Arabs,Pakistanis, and Afghanis in the Star Trek show."
President Bush laughs and leans toward the Pakistani, and whispers in his ear, "Because... the show is all about the future."

Then what was Worf? Just Kidding!
Very close resemblence to that devil they caught yesterday in Pakistan. Glad to see that the Pakistanis are at least trying to fight terrorism superficially or when the cameras are on. Of course they knew that those AlQuadas were up there for weeks, only when the FBI told them where they were, did they have to put on shields and extract them. I'm surprised that Ramsi guy didn't try to off himself before they caught him though. I personally hope he is being hung by his you know what right now, until he talks.

Christians killed in Pakistan attack
Gunmen target welfare organization in Karachi
KARACHI, Pakistan, Sept. 25 — Gunmen entered the offices of a Christian welfare organization in the southern port city of Karachi on Wednesday, tying office workers to their chairs and shooting each of them in the head at close range, police and intelligence officials said. At least seven people were killed and another was critically injured.
THE SHOOTING WAS the latest in a string of violent attacks against Christians and Westerners, who have been increasingly targeted since Pakistani President Gen. Pervez Musharraf’s decision to crack down on Islamic extremist groups and join the U.S. war against the Taliban and al-Qaida in neighboring Afghanistan.
The killings occurred at the third-floor offices of the Institute for Peace and Justice, or Idara-e-Amn-o-Insaf, a Pakistani Christian charity that does work in the city. . . .
