Oh boy am I pissed. These artistic Jews are such do-gooders that they don't realize how they're misleading people. Check it out: http://localangel.udialoni.com/. It's a promo for a movie premiering at the Toronto International Film Festival very shortly. If you look at the site, you'll see why I'm mad - the site contains a clip of the documentary maker asking Yasser Arafat something like "What will it take for the Palestinians to forgive Israel for all their wrongdoings?". Arafat responds "Peace of the Brave" - we know that to mean "Peace for the people that want to die". Here is what I wrote to them, but don't read it until you've actually looked at the clips...
It's unfortunate that Local Angel will reveal a one-sided view of the Israel-Arab conflict. The film, undoubtedly, will portray the Palestinians as the victims and the Israelis as the aggressors. This is evident for two reasons - the first, is that Udi Aloni is the son of a "peace activist", or one who will sacrifice anything in the name of "peace". The second, comes in the interview with Yasser Arafat, who talks about the "peace of the brave". I'm sure the film doesn't delve into the facts that surround Arafat - his fortunes, his signatures that pay for terror acts and his history. That's not important to peace activists.
Another issue with the film is your apparent combination of the Dome of the Rock and the Al-Aqsa Mosque. It appears you have little knowledge of what Muslims consider their holy sites - the Dome of the Rock is not a mosque, and is certainly not the Al-Aqsa mosque, as you seem to have said in your online clip. Why you didn't mention the site's significance to Jews, I cannot understand. Are Jews not allowed any claim to the area, since it is the location where our ancient temples stood? I, and most Jews in this world, think so.
I'm sure your film will be a hit with the Arabs and any closet anti-Semites. It sure won't teach people facts.
