Being Lebanese, who come here to talk...and I hope that you understand the other side of the border....which I FIND IMPORTANT!....is the Gaza withdraw nothing more than a political SELL-OUT?

What is the catch here? Same thing happen with Hezbollah!

Here is what us Lebanese think......

Isreal gets billions to support their state and army per year from USA and others. If they made peace...and got it...then withdraw of these funds would stop.

Not only that...but, while Jews across the Entire Planet donate billions to Israel to support programs...what would happen if there WAS peace? Would state programs have a tough time running?

Isreal would be put into the RED ALERT...naked zone.

From historial pull-outs, sneaky-pullouts on military stuff, etc....we are adding 2 + 2. why pull out on Hezbollah? Why not finish Hamas? Why not let Lebanese Christian finish Syria? etc. I have millions of questions.

(Well, perhaps I am, because I am not 18, and stupid anymore. I am in my high 30's).

But...give your perspective.

Have you looked around you what European leaders were saying, what Russia was saying (at least during the Lebanese war), what the UN was saying to Israel and how the leftist media were in a frenzy, reporting 24 hours a day 7 days aweek about "war crimes", dead babies and other assorted horror stories? They were foaming at the mouth. Contrast that to how they reacted to the war in Georgia, Sri Lanka, Congo or anywhere else in the world..... And I won't even talk about the Muslim world ..... How long do you think Israel can stand up to that?

You might not know but Hamas and Hezbollah know and so does Israel. Any suggestions how to overcome that?

Well, calling someone a political sell out depends on what side you lean to. I personally believe Israel has the intelligence to have done a much better job in operation Cast Lead, both against Hamas and the way the executed the occupation.

Does Israel have any real interest in contributing in strengthening the legitimacy of Islamic militant organizations, most of whom willing to annihilate Israel? Does Israel have any interest in losing the media war (by appearing as the brutal aggressor) and thus international\western support, mostly popular. Does it have an interest in weakening its regional allies, or moderate opponents?
I think that by playing by the conspiracy you mentioned above, Israel would be risking too much. Is it really plausible?
