http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/newstopics/howaboutthat/4433944/Terracotta-vase-left-in-garden-for-20-years-is-ancient-Egyptian-relic.htmlTo be fair the UK was swamped with first class copies during the financial boom in the 80's when the traditional British garden went out the window and decking, paving and other anti-bird devices were complimented by pieces like this. Hard for most people to distinguish between the original and a fake. The original was probably bought from a heroin addict thief by a junk shop and sold as a copy.

Maven, you seem to have this all figured out! Is there anything that you would like to confess...just to get it off your chest?

Any fan of "Antiques Roadshow" will remember the woman who bought a table at a garage sale for $25 and it turned out to be a one of a kind Chippendale worth more than $700,000.

I used to have a couple of Chippendales stashed in my cellar. Then some do-gooder human rights campaigner set them free.

Like I could care maven, whatever falls into my bear trap is mine by law, it's written somewhere in the Irish constitution.

I love that show! I liked: "My uncle used to always give me baseball cards in packs, but I hated them and never opened them up. What do you think these 100 or so packs of 1950s era baseball cards still unopened in the cellephane are worth?" !!!

Or, my friend was in a concert in Berlin in the 1960s and Ringo Star gave her this signed set of drumsticks.

I have a 1993 copy of the New York Post with no headline and a single tear coming down Alexander Hamilton's face. I hope it's worth more than the 50 cents I paid for it.

I gave it away, now it's worth about 15 milion!

Andak, I have no idea but I would say that it's worth finding out. Especially if the cards are in mint condition.

Beatles stuff still sells well, too.

But she's the darling of the Irish Right On Brigade. 3/4 of the population would never talk to me again. I have my limits maven.

We recently passed a law restricting sheds to no more than 21ft roof height. I'm thinking that's more of a barn.
