GUARDIAN COUNCIL ANNOUNCES A FIX TO PERPETUATE REGIME.

In a move to consolidate the future of the Islamofascist Republic the Guardian Council of experts has today
called a meeting for Saturday to collude in a fix with all sides in the regime; 'Reformers' and Conservatives.

What has been interesting is how Ahmedinejad has been sidelined over the last 48 hours and the suspicion is
that the regime will be willing to ditch him in order to stay in power.

What is particularly sinister is that the meeting was first called for by Mousavis number two Hashemi Rafsanjani,
one of Iran’s most pre-eminent political figures, and a powerful leader of the Expediency Council, set up by the
regime to resolve disputes between Parliament and the Guardian Council.

If this meeting merely amounts to a simple change in the line-up of the regime then the West including Israel
will face a difficult future with Barak Obama and others possibly deciding on a policy of appeasement.

Mousavi is trying to prevent any clash between the armed forces of various kinds and the demonstrators
turning Ghandi's theory of non-violence to achieve change on it's head and helping the regime to remain in balance.

Any success of this meeting in bringing about another election or the annulment of the last is likely to be followed
by idiots like Hillary Clinton, outsmarted by a cunning and evil regime, praising that regime for being 'democratic'

I think it was Winston Churchill who wrote that following the "relegion of Islam turns a human being into a sheep".
It looks as though the millions of protestors on the streets of Iran are just that; sheep arguing over the colour of the walls of their cells and whether girls can wear more makeup and show their ankles rather than being concerned for instituting true democracy in their country.

Interesting that Mousavi has not complained about the arrests of political opponents of the regime, this could be because some of his own supporters and others could be more radical than him and prevent a deal being done to perpetuate the Islamic Republic.
In the Khominist system power is in the hands of a pyramid of people, if one limb of the pyramid becomes diseased then the rest of the pyramid can move to replace it. That means perpetual power unless the majority of the people, and not just a few as now, wants to entirely end the Islamic revolutionary regime.

Having said all that one must expect the unexpected and if at Friday prayers tomorrow the Supreme Leader (who would be replaced if Moussavi wins) deceides to bluff it out and support (the currently invisable) Ahmedinejad then things could drag on. But the result will probably be the same.

"The powerful Guardian Council has convened an extraordinary session for Saturday and invited the three candidates who were, according to official results, defeated by the incumbent, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.
Iran's supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, called for unity, telling the conservative Iranian newspaper Kayhan: "The friendly atmosphere that existed prior to the election should not turn into an atmosphere of confrontation and enmity afterwards, since both groups of voters believe in the Islamic system."
A spokesman for the Regime said: "Those who are participating in the protests are looking for a change in the system but not the overthrow of the system. This is a crisis of authority, not legitimacy. The demonstrations reflect a deep malaise in society. It's not just about the elections."
