Lebanese voted a new group of people in, feeling as if they are ushering in freshness in politics. Generating new hope in Arab Nations.

what happened? Nothing new. Jumblat is now turing faces, berri re-elected, Aoun & Hezzie demanding the same old. Saudi going to Syria making same old demands. Syria making things Lebanese fault, when they up to their necks in it....and Israel making deal as well. Etc...etc....etc. Looks like we have another 50 years to make a difference.

And, there will be the old war game between South and Israel that many predict will ruin what economy we got. We get blamed for putting them in, and we blame the West for letting them in.

But today, when we lebanese turn on the news, we just feel numb. Nothing has changed. Here you had millions go to the street and vote. So far, as you can see....it meant nothing in the end.

You heard the voice of Lebanese...they want peace, end to dicktators, privitizations, etc. THey want West in, and old crap out.

Now, Lebanese will just lay low and play it all out. Most have even quit talking about politics on twitter. It will be about 2 good months before they even want to come back....even on other Lebanese forums. Most have watched the news...nothing new, but Budda bar re-opening, so they will go get drunk. Why not?

And, I think a lot of Lebanese wanted to see the revolution in Iran work. But at the same time, they expected USA, etc...to be weak in support. (This feeling creeped in, when they saw how Obama reacted, along side of seeing old leaders elected back in). That Iranian change would have made a huge difference in Lebanese politics.

But, here is what Lebanese are asking, on the street:

What changed? Absolutely nothing.

So bare that in mind, when you ask a Lebanese to take out Hezbollah, etc. Saying they are our problem. We had a revolution. We voted, and our votes counted. Read the news, etc.

But, much more is in play here. It is part the West, etc. It is part of keeping your enemies alive. It is all nothing but a game.

Just today, BuddaBar announced its' re-opening, and others. Get the point?

OB.
