A former Carter admin official, who else?

Zbigniew Brzezinski, who enthusiastically campaigned for U.S. President Barack Obama, has called on the president to shoot down Israeli planes if they attack Iran. “They have to fly over our airspace in Iraq. Are we just going to sit there and watch?” said the former national security advisor to former U.S. President Jimmy Carter in an interview with the Daily Beast. Brzezinski, who served in the Carter administration from 1977 to 1981, is currently a professor of American foreign policy at Johns Hopkins University's School of Advanced International Studies in Maryland. “We have to be serious about denying them that right,” he said. “If they fly over, you go up and confront them. They have the choice of turning back or not. No one wishes for this but it could be a 'Liberty' in reverse.’" Israel mistakenly attacked the American Liberty ship during the Six-Day War in 1967.

Actually, Brzezinski was not only involved in the Obama campaign, but he's also one of Obama's top foreign policy advisers.

I hope Brzezinski's fate will be similar to Van Jones. If Obama keeps Brzezinski on as an adviser, it would be a clear signal that Obama, too, wouldn't hesitate to order the US military to attack Israel and other allies of the US.

Well then, I guess Iran is very happy with BHO. They are almost there folks. Can't you feel the love?

Iran on Monday welcomed Washington's decision to cancel plans to deploy an anti-ballistic missile system in Eastern Europe.

"The Islamic Republic of Iran welcomes any act that causes a reduction in the conventional arms race," Hassan Qashqavi, spokesman for the Iranian foreign ministry, was quoted as saying by Iranian PressTV news agency.

According to the report, Qahqavi rejected the claim that the system was meant to face an Iranian missile threat, calling it a baseless political claim.

"Such analyses have no realistic or evidential basis, for, from the beginning, adopting the claim of a missile threat from the Islamic Republic of Iran was an opportunistic and domination-seeking US scam with political aims. Now, with the passage of time, more aspects of the truth of this act have been established," he reportedly said.

Last October there were trial balloons floated, suggesting that Saudi Arabia would (quietly) grant the Israeli air force overflight rights to stage an attack on Iran. Now we have an Obama Administration advisor who wants to shoot down Israeli airplanes on their way to eliminate Iran's nuclear sites. Does it get any more insane than this?

Don't tell anybody but while everyone is looking for us to fly over Iraq or Saudi Arabia we buzz over the US and drop bombs on Brzezinski

Today as they were broadcasting from the UN all I could think of was a couple "backpacks" strategically placed would wipe out a number of the world's problems. Apparently I have the soul of an assassin, but the most annoying conscience.

Zbig: Just like his former boss, is it any wonder why Islamic fascism got it's big start in Iran. Carter is exactly the same kind of idiot as Zbig, no wonder they still shoot off their mouth, the media is always listening to the peace at any price zealots. Though neither one seems ever to consider what they did to the Iranian people, some of whom were my friends, and could not even consider returning to Iran because they were diplomats with the Shah's government. What is it with those kind of people that want Islam to succeed everywhere? Are they self destructive or just love seeing the blood baths?

There's a building I'd like to see an airliner fly into.

Now now, what a waste of valuable space. Send them packing, but not before they pay their rent, back due, then rent the space.

It's pretty incredible... not quite what one suspects about Libya...
