Why is everyone still holding up formulating a government in Lebanon? It is simple.

Aoun wants his Don-in-law to mainting the position as Communication Minister. His Don-in-law, was NOT RE-ELECTED.

So, Aoun is barking and barking. Getting HA to side with him, because HA wants to control Communications in Lebanon.

Communications in Lebanon? Why is that important? I guess you can figure that one OUT.

And, that is the simple reason why. They want a guy in power, who was NOT ELECTED.

Now, in America and other Democratic countries, the looser just goes away, and comes back another election day.

But, in Lebanon...Aoun is looking for HUGE Western pay to shut up (including Isrealis), or he gets his man in office. This can also lead to war.

Elections were last summer. We are now in Fall. And, it is over Bassil...that we have yet to form a government. March 14th could just vote him out....but that will give HA a reason for war.

And, so now you know. Stay alive with REAL NEWS and be 'with it.' It is the real stuff, media doesn't publish.

Personally.....Bassil! (Well, I can not say what I think....it could be used as grounds to ban this little Lebanese). But whatever you think...then you know how I feel.

Well in either case, Lebanon can bow to Hezbollah or they can have another civil war. Personally I think Lebanon is finished as a political entity distinct from Hezbollah/Iran. You can go quiet or you can in an aria of bloodshed. Your pick.

You see, that is the point. This is a 'real' example. And you wonder why, the 'last chrisitan' country 1/2 heartily puts this trust in Israel? I can go quietly? How about you leave Isreal quietly? You see, when you wear my shoes, you don't want to go...do you?

You say we can bow to HA....I do not think that will be the case. There would be war, but this time...no one will win. And, neither Israel will walk out winning either; you will be dragged into it, one way or another, and chrisitan will line with Chrisitans only.

As for Lebanon being a district (which is what you mean)...that is what West WANTS! Not the ppl. It was Voted by the ppl to be against that; including Druze, Chrisitans and Sunnis.

The only thing that questions Lebanon's Identity...is POLITICAL WORLD LEADERS who ARE CORRUPT!....and sad to say, Isreal is also full of them. Paid to shout & pout.

I wonder....how can Isrealis say they are pro-chrisitans..and make such friends...if they are willing to sell the very country next door to them to HA? That quick? How much are you getting from Pat Robertson? (Gooof ballll).

Now, unless I read your message wrong....WHICH I HOPE I DID NOT...

I hope Medocrie does NOT stand for the point he wrote. I would find his explanation quite sad.

OB, Lebanon is not a Christian Country by a long shot. And neither are the Christians that are left do not have the stomach to fight the next war either. It will be a Sunni-Shia war. That is the situation, and Israel has absolutely nothing to do with it.

Then I wish you luck. Well, not so much...because you deny chrisitan identity...like in '82...but, this is last strength of it. SO, we do not win...do not complain....

AND,,,,, I am sure Isreal will make us chrisitans loose. There is something about recongnizing Lebanon as Chrisitan LAND...since 1982. What a shame.

OB what do you expect Israel to do? I'm all for taking Maronite [and Druse] refugees and rescuing as many lives as possible when it's going to go down, which it will. That's about it though.

How close is Lebanon to falling completely under Hezbollah influence? Youguys are saying that Hezbollah could just prance in and sit in the President's seat and direct the country? Please explain, I am ignorant when it comes to the curent political situation in Lebanon.
