Israel sends 220 truckloads of supplies to Gaza under fire

While Gaza terror groups are showering rockets on Israeli communities in the south, Islamic Jihad's mouthpiece Palestine Today (http://www.paltoday.ps/arabic/News-104629.html) still reports, without irony, that Israel will today allow between 210 and 220 trucks to enter Gaza today, loaded with aid and items for agriculture and commercial factories. Also, cement and iron is being sent through Kerem Shalom, along with food and fuel.

its completely beyond a joke what israel is doing, its like you can hit me, but ill give you some food to make your life better anyway.

I know why israel is doing this 3 reasons.


reason 1.) the jews historically have been appeasers to agressors and so too are the israelis

reason 2.) Its pressure from the EU and of course the USA to not let gaza suffer.

reason 3.) Israel knows it can completely destroy gaza in a matter of minutes but its doing this as an attempt to pull on the heart strings of even hamas to show israel isnt evil like they all think.

It is not so much these 3 reasons now as the established practice (based on your reasons, that's correct). Israel was "always" supporting Gaza. It's kinda Orwellian - remember, Oceania was ALWAYS at war with Eastasia regardless of when it started and that before it it was at war with Eurasia.
Sending food and fuel and providing infratrsucture to Gaza is now an accepted convention in Israel. YOu have to be really bold to break it.
