Turkey has sent a Cobra helicopter to do reconnaissance over Syria to ensure that a Kurdish state is not coming into being (http://www.presstv.ir/detail/185342.html) during the chaos in Syria - or that at least it won't come right up to Syria's border (Hat Tip: Joshua I). The helicopter with a commander and several military troops onboard entered Syrian airspace to conduct a reconnaissance flight over the two states' borderlines and to examine Syrian border regions, Turkish Kanal 7 reports.

I think we can feel pretty confident that the Anschluss of Syria is almost upon us. With or without the execution of Asaad, his family and close circle of Alawites, Iran, Turkey and Hezbollah are testing the waters to either carve up Syria or occupy it.

Most Syrians would be happy to see the Alawites tied to poles and shot. But let's see what they get in exchange. It will be interesting to see how the west spins this version of the "Arab Spring" which no doubt will result in mass purges.

Bad reporting... Yesterday, Syrian forces fired into Turkish humanitarian aid zone in the border. In the end, the Kurds are not big problem anymore. Funny article anyway.
