You don't hear much about the successes the United States is having in the war. Most of what you hear is the critics -lots of them around here- saying we're bogged down, or we're losing, etc.

Something to think about:

An Iraqi division is about 5,000 men short of its American counterpart. That means there's around 15,000 men to a division. We - the US- have completely wiped out two entire divisions; one near Karbalah, in the last 48 hours. Of the others, we've reduced them to around 20 to 50%, or less, of their original numbers; one is down to 15%.

Bill O'Reilly announced, this evening, of his having received an email from a US officer on the ground near Karbalah. He said the email contained decriptions of "the carnage" and that "the body parts were knee deep", and "they were loading up truck after truck of the enemy dead and their parts.... ".

Do the math: A total of 45,000 men minus 50% (that's conservative) equals how many "good" Republican Guard troops?

Sound like a massacre? Not yet...... but it's coming. We're not finished.

With regard to this prevalent attitude, I was amused to hear Sean Hannity say a few moments ago, that it took Janet Reno a month to do anything about the Branch Davidians in Waco, while we are, at present, only 12 days into a full scale war.

And making amazing strides in sudden swoops, not the least of which, as far as I'm concerned, is the rescue of Jessica Lynch, now America's favorite kid sister.

I hope we get our hands on those gents that showed her such kindness; by breaking her legs (both of them) and her arm. No doubt they showed her other kindnesses. I'm for skinning them alive; literally.
