There was a great cause for celebration tonight in the streets of Ramallah. Apparently, thousands of Palestinians took to the streets dancing and shouting with joy.
The occasion for the Arab celebration was a suicide bomber who blew himself up in front of a synogogue in Jerusalem at a time calculated to have a large crowd of Jewish youths socializing at that location.
As of now, there were 9 Israelis dead, including a young boy and a 1 1/2 year-old baby, and another 56 wounded, including 5 in critical condition, 3 in severe condition (usually means will be paralyzed or incapacitated for life), 12 in "medium" condition (meaning they lost an arm or a leg, or an eye, etc.) and 37 injured lightly (loss of blood, scarring and other flesh wounds).
Later, at the local hospitals, there are expected to arrive more injured, including mostly people who are in shock and may have long-lasting psychological effects that will affect them and their families, like anxiety, hypertension, panic attacks, etc.
This was a deliberate mass murder ordered and assisted by the PA and its terrorist arm, aimed at Jewish Orthodox youth in the heart of Israel's capital and is particularly noteworthy, not only for the high number of dead and wounded, but because this attack was not even located in disputed territory, and was targeted against youth who will not serve in the Israeli army, because as Orthodox, they are exempt from military service.
This exposes not only the Palestinian lies that they are fighting to "liberate" disputed territories, but also their lies that all Israelis are soldiers, and therefore fair game, in their distorted view.
This latest attack in Jerusalem clearly shows that the true aim of the Palestinians is not just a second Palestinian state, but the mass murder of all Jews in all of Israel. And the fact that there were mass celebration in Ramallah, shows that basically most, if not virtually all, Palestinians are either mass murderers or their supporters and should be fair targets for Israeli retaliation.
Tonight's celebrations in the streets of Ramallah reminded me of the public celebrations of the Palestinians in the Gulf War when Iraq shot scud missiles into Israeli cities, and it also reminded me of Palestinian celebrations when they learned of the Sept. 11th WTC attack on New York.
The world needs to open its eyes and understand the true nature of the Palestinians and realize that peace is, very unfortunately, not possible while the Arab culture of mass murder and religious genocide still exists.
As we all know, the Israeli retaliation will be swift and I hope more powerful than ever before to create a real deterrence for future Arab terrorism anywhere in the world.
