The Iraqi Information Minister made the announcement, at his press briefing, that Americans were not at the Baghdad airport nor were they even in Baghdad at all. He stated that the Iraqis had the Americans surrounded, or on the run, at every place there was fighting going. He told the reporters he would take them out to the airport in buses to prove that Americans did not have to airport. The most stunning announcement was that what was the videos being aired that showed Americans at the airport and making forays in to Baghdad were "a movie" that was made many days beforehand. He also promised to bring snacks saying, “I will feed you information. I will feed you the information.”

I'll take him at his word, about the movie, and tell you a few of my favorite scenes…..

Episode 1: “We Are Not In Baghdad”

One of the best scenes was when the "dreaded" Iraqi Datsun B-2-10 bomber appeared off the left side of the column and attempted to ram a Bradley Fighting Vehicle. The Bradley opened up with a 50 caliber machine gun and the B-2-10 crossed through the column and coasted to a stop against the guard rail.

The next scene was what could have been, although intelligence sources have been vague about its existence, was the stealth Land Cruiser. It could have been the vehicle that was camouflaged "white" and swooped in under an overpass, dropping several soldiers on the way. It was met with another hail of 50 caliber ammo, as it turned and retraced its path, out; the bullets punching through the rear window and making red trails ricocheting off the roof.

What will today’s episode bring?

Possession of the Castle and a parade through the streets! :D

Three cheers for Dave Perkins and Crew in their stellar performance in this Iraqi comedy.
