Last night (Wednesday) three anti tank missiles were fired upon Kfar Darom settlement in GS. The missiles fell near a supermarket and injured four civilians: a couple, a 15 y.o. teenager and an additional resident who went into shock. All injured were evacuated to Soroka hospital in Beer Sheva.
Following the event, IDF soldiers opened fire on what seemed like suspect fleeing the scene. However, it is estimated they did not hit anyone. Earlier on, some mortar shells fell on Neve Dkalim and Gadid settlements in GS. No one was injured. In WB, explosives were thrown on police force near Mearat Hamacpela in Hebron. No one was injured.
IDF closed the main road of GS, Tancher route, to Palestinian movement. IDF sources stated that the closure of the road came as “a sanction and signal to Palestinian gov’t that every cease fire violation will be met with response.”
Palestinian PM, Abu Mazen called the events in GS and the assassination of foreign worker on Monday “terrorist attacks”. Al Gazira reported that Palestinian police arrested two persons in Han Yunes for suspicion in firing the mortar shells.
