Here we go again -- another agreement that has no penalty clause for Palestinian breaches.
Anyway, here's the deal:
Israeli concessions to the Palestinians
1. A willingness to negotiate under fire, i.e., while the Palestinians continue to mass murder Israeli civilians.
2. Giving up on the condition of seven days of quiet before moving into the Tenet and Mitchell plans, i.e., the Palestinians need not stop terrorism and slaughter of Jews for any time at all.
3. Allowing Arafat to leave Ramallah and travel in the West Bank and Gaza Strip.
4. Withdrawing Israeli forces back from Ramallah and various refugee camps, where Palestinian terorrism originates and where missile factories are operating.
Palestinians concessions to Israel
1. Arafat will "attempt" to stop terrorism against Israel.
* * *
So, there you have it...
What do you think of the chances of success?

The chances are zero. Arafat lies to gullible diplomats from the US and Europe. It's his own Fatah group that has been behind many of the recent terrorist attacks.
More attacks today, practically in front of General Zinni's eyes. It's almost as if the Palestinians are daring him to speak the truth -- to say that there is no sense in negotiating with terrorists.
There was also an attack on a church attended by Western diplomats in Pakistan today.
Militant Islam is 21st century Nazism. The West had better wake up soon. Defeating this evil will take much more than hunting down Osama bin Laden and Mullah Omar.
It's going to take declaring war and letting the entire Islamic world know that it must begin to prove immediately that it is aggressively fighting militant Islam. Action must be taken against countries like Saudi Arabia that pretend to cooperate while teaching their youth to revile the West.

In some ways this is worse than the nazi situation... imagine if Powell who is best friends with Prince Bandar was best friends with at the time hitler and that James Zogby who has private meetings with State all the time, was (((pick your own SS officer planted in the US.)))))
The US is trying to please satan himself... handing the arab world Isreal on a silver plater when Israel is not the US's to give.
This time around the propaganda machine is 100 times more sophisticated, and today's people who know about nazi germany.... somehow just don't see any similarity... is it because the faces aren't white?
The arabs have a orchestrated highly sophisticated PR... could have learned the techniques from jesse jackson ( a once very close friend to arafat and who k nows who else in the arab world), the technique is totally similiar to the propaganda black radicals use.
So, here we have the arab world spearheading an old nazi vision... and they are dressing the palestinians in a fashion to imitate the Jews.... a proud people without a homeland, a people who are tied to the Holy Land and Jerusalem, a victimized people under occupation by a racist regime, they call their others living outside, "in disporia,"
ANYONE care to add to that list???? There are more buzz symbols that I just can't think of at the moment.

Right. And my guess is these attacks will highlight the overt hypocrisy of the US and EU pressure on Israel.
No one will say anything about today's terror attacks, because as I wrote earlier, part of the "cease-fire" deal is that the Arabs keep on slaughtering Jews. It is their right under this cease-fire deal, which is being hailed as a "breakthrough." On the other hand, Israel would be prevented from reacting to those ongoing terrorist attacks.
Let's see if Sharon goes for it.

i had no idea Jessie Jackson had ties to Arafat.
I have a side q... Why do many prominent African American leaders harbor a grudge against jews? I am thinking of Malcolm X, Farrahkan and apparently Jessie Jackson. Why is this? During the 40's, 50's and 60's in america, Jews united with Blacks to fight bigotry and racial hatred in america. How did this relationship sour?

Bakuda,
I guess these groups went sour when all the groups radicalized. The word is that Jews "helped" during the civil rights days for selfish reasons... I forget the exact wording of the propaganda, but that got started a long time ago. Something about how Jews benefited more by doing this. I"ll post some websites later... but if you run a search on --- blacks and Jews--- you'll find a ton of these sites. Blacks hate Jews as much as arabs, and that is nothing new.
According to new-speak in the black community.... Europeans stole Judiasm from the africans, Jews, not whites are responcible for slavery, that Jews owned all the ships... I forget the rest but there are a few ore items on the list. That within populations, there is more anti-semitism within the black community than in white population... per capita.
I remember hearing about jesse jacksons trips to visit arafat in the news, in the early 80s. And that farakan is very close to islamic figures..... whose names I just don't remember.
During ww2.... there was a group of black radicals called the Black Dragon Society that worked directly with Hitler... it was promised that Japan would help the black community return to Africa if they helped. You can find this information in an old book called "Undercover" by John Roy Carlson. SOmetimes you can find this in used book stores. Long long out of print. ANyhow... this black dragon society was connected to the orginal group that the inventor of nation of islam was involved in.
Basically.... what is going on today is very much connected to events of WW2. There was a short break... but to say that todays events are unrelated and that events of 50 years ago are irrelevent and in the past, is absurd.
If you go to the link I have at the signiture... you will find articles about arafats uncle the mufti and his personal ties to hitler.
