Distrust

Since that word has been coined many times Perhaps the issue of distrust could be a topic of distrust...

There are stories of distrust on both sides. Israel has perfect reason to distrust “palestinians”, what of the “palestinians?” Other then they feel they can’t legitimately hold onto land they have no rights to whatsoever and they know it. If they truly want to remain in Israel they must remove the hatred and become civilized rational Law abiding caring considerate individuals.

Trust is something that is gained through actions.

The fact is that Israel turned over huge chunks of Palestinian land, including all major Palestinian-controlled cities in the West Bank and Gaza, and Israel pulled back its troops from all those areas and began negotiating for giving even more land to the Palestinians.

That should have brought trust for the Palestinians, but instead they chose to build missile factories in those areas vacated by israel, and train terrorists to mass murder Israeli citizens.

In this case, it need not be a matter of trust, but a matter of enforcement and severe punishment of Palestinians for reneging on their obligations.
