View Full Version : A Lone Woman Testifies To Iraq's Order of Terror

BAGHDAD...
Hanna, a 41-year-old Assyrian Christian from a formerly rich and prominent Iraqi family, returned last week to the well of her nightmares...

This is the place where in the 1990s Hanna was hung from a rod and beaten with a special stick when she called out for Jesus or the Virgin Mary. This is where she and other female prisoners were dragged outside and tied to a dead tree trunk, nicknamed "Walid" by the guards, and raped in the shadow of palm trees. This is the place where electric shock was applied to Hanna's vagina. And this is where in February 2001 someone put a bullet in her husband's head and handed his corpse through the steel gate like a piece of butcher's meat.

Incidents like that are far too common in Islam and the Taliban certainly had similar behavior. I suppose that’s Islam!

The USA could become a Muslim center.
Turkey was once a Christian center.

They are a strong presence today.

CAIR spokesman Ibrahim Hooper indicated in a 1993 interview with the Minneapolis Star Tribune that he wants the United States to become a Muslim country.

"I wouldn't want to create the impression that I wouldn't like the government of the United States to be Islamic sometime in the future," Hooper told the Star Tribune. "But I'm not going to do anything violent to promote that. I'm going to do it through education."

Founded in 1994, CAIR is a spin-off of the Islamic Association for Palestine, identified as a "front group" for the terrorist group Hamas, according to Steve Pomerantz, former chief of the FBI's counterterrorism section.

A controversial Islamic lobby group that casts itself as a mainstream voice for American Muslims is fiercely opposing President Bush's nomination of a leading Middle East scholar to the board of the U.S. Institute of Peace.

The Washington, D.C.-based Council on American-Islamic Relations, or CAIR, charges that Daniel Pipes, director of a Philadelphia-based think tank, the Middle East Forum, is an "Islamophobe" whose views "have been instrumental in widening the divide between faiths and cultures."

Daniel Pipes

Prior to the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, Pipes, who speaks Arabic and has a Ph.D. from Harvard, was castigated by Muslims as a racist for insisting militant Islam is a serious threat to U.S. security. Since then, he has been in regular demand as a pundit on television news programs, often explaining the distinction he makes between militant Islam and Islam in general.

Like CAIR, however, many U.S. Muslim activist groups insist he unfairly paints Muslims in broad strokes, and on Sunday the Washington Post supported that assertion in an editorial condemning the nomination as "sort of a cruel joke."

The Post objected to Pipes' argument that since only Muslims are vulnerable to becoming militant Muslims or "Islamists," therefore Muslims should be given more scrutiny by U.S. security than others.

You better check your demographics, Reb old buddy. Mexican Catholics are far greater in number and increasing rapidly; almost exponentially. Clearly, you've not been West of the Rockies in a while.... and if you have, you've orbited a little higher than the rest of us mere mortals.

The smart money says you'd better bone-up on your Spanish, before you buy that swampland that the Muslims will dominate the US of A.

Being sixty-two, they shouldn't be. It'll be some length of time, before they become a majority. There again, they could still be a threat, if you decide to take a stroll through South Central L.A., some night.

Come to think of it, you've nothing to worry about with the Muslims taking over either. It'll be someone else's problem. You trying to be some kind of "gate keeper" to the "hive" of the U.S. of A, or just "Mr. Maytag", the human agitator, with your fixation on racism?

Sir, quite frankly, you scare me more than the radical Muslims.

No, I never did much shooting. I was once offered a new chinese made AK 47 in the box in grease for $287 but what would I do with it? Shoot deer? Squirrels?

Most of my friends are gun happy. Some of them have lost their hearing from shooting all day long.

Maid Tortured to Death
Mahmoud Ahmad • Arab News Staff

JEDDAH, 29 July 2003 — An 18-year-old maid has died as a result of severe burns inflicted by her employers, Al-Madinah reported.

The woman of the house poured scalding water on the maid because she could not understand Arabic, the paper said, while the husband tied her up. Both husband and wife are teachers. When the maid’s condition worsened following the assault, the woman took the maid to her mother’s house with the intention of having her deported for failure to fulfill her contractual obligations.

The mother attempted to treat the maid with aspirin, but the girl, of Asian nationality, succumbed to her injuries soon after, the paper said.

A court sentenced the husband to four years and the wife to two years in jail. The wife’s mother will receive 80 lashes for conspiring to conceal the crime.

Abortion clinic bombers. Population in western nations is declining because we are killing our babies before they are born. We just can't be bothered with them.

Naah.. Johnny's not worried about illegal aliens, or undocumented workers. They're heading east and taking away all the jobs from the good ol' boys in them there chicken processing plants back in Alambamee.. It's too hot for them to stay here, not only because of the climate, but we've got damned near shoulder to shoulder INS and Customs agents in a corridor that measures something like 50 miles wide, from the border to the north. Besides, the west coast is too expensive. Much easier to "get by", back east.

Oh... as far as Spanish, it's a first language here. You, pretty much, have to be able to speak it or you won't get inexpensive domestic help. You see.... in this here cracker neighborhood that I live in, the only "wet backs" you see, in my yard, are the landscapers that come and cut the grass once a week. This here's one of them uppity neighborhoods.... ;)

As far as Muslims go, I'll let you in on a little secret (ssshhh!). One of my bestest buds, here, is a Palestinian and he absolutely loathes Jews; and that's okay. Doesn't make him a bad guy, unless he acts out. And just to let you know, he has more illegals working for him, than I do.... He's a developer and they are good with shovels....

He rails about Jews, constantly. I just ignore his ramblings, especially when he and I go dove hunting. He says, "Look! Here comes a Jewish dove, and takes aim." I say, "Oh no it's not! It's one of your radical brethern!", snap shoot it myself (BOOM!), and rob him of his shot. Pretty much goes that way, most of the day. Then we have a few cocktails and laugh. Okay, he's a secular Muslime.......

Oh... lest I forget this..

When I was a kid in Middle School, one of my friends who was black said, "see that girl, she's Palestinian and she hates you guys". I didn't really understand with my lack of modern Jewish history and I was hurt that someone I didn't know hated me for no good reason.

You see, the difference is, our parents don't teach us to hate others. Maybe some do, but obviously not the majority like I see in Palestinians. Its really a shame, hearing little comments like that all the time, and then almost expecting myself to hate them back. But I don't. I just hate anyone who actually commits an act of hatred.

Yes, it is sad that people are still taught to be racist. I grew up in segrated schools and thought blacks were a different species than us and I thought Jews were inferior simpletons. Blacks were the worst then New york jews then other yankees and jews; but then Catholics were almost acceptable.

It was a long road away from racism for me. MLK started me thinking and then there was the laws. No racial or sexual jokes. Fair housing Hiring practices then I had to apply to blacks for work and I was thankful they showed no bias against me. I turned to like Jews because of Israel/palestine conflict. I just hate butts and those Palestines act like butts. So my affections go to the Jews. Also I dated a beautifu 60 year old jewish woman for over a year and I was overwhelmed by the good feeling of being a part of a community of careing people.

Buy her a double barreled shotgun she can’t miss.

Actually I knew a guy that bought his girlfriend a shotgun and she blasted him one night when he gained entry through a window. She claimed it was an accident and he survived. After that they had an off/on relationship.

A couple of years later he returned to his house after a night of boozing and she walked up to the car and blew his brains out with a 9MM. His buddy was showered with brain matter and when the trial rolled around he was unable to testify.

The Judge gave her a slap on the wrist; I think she was sentenced to 5 years.

George Jones lived in Ishpeming, Michigan in the mid 1800’s, he was a canoe maker of some renown and on summer Sundays canoeists could be seen sailing his canoes in the Straits of Mackinac. (pronounced – MACK-in-naw).

Legend has it that his canoes inspired the song “Row, Row, Row Your Canoe.

Row, row, row your canoe,
Gently down the strait.
Merrily, merrily, merrily, merrily,
Life is but a dream.

His great, great, great, great grandson is the latest prophet George Jones.

So impressed are some of the followers of George Jones, that they've taken the name of some of the historical exploits of the prophet's ancestors, as is commonly done by Micronesians. Most notably are the "Straits". They named their son after the great prophet. George Strait now follows in prophet's footsteps.

According to legend, George Jones frequented a tavern known as "The Three Teardrops"; right next to The Heartbreak Hotel. Oftentimes, on the blue-side of lonesome, on a barstool not doing so well.

Rumor has it that his wife left him, quite regularly, and things often went to pieces.

When the prophet's wife left, probably because of his drinking, he found himself poverty stricken, since all he had in his pockets were three nickles and a dime.

I think his words show, although some believe he was more, that he was merely human with the wide spectrum of emotions and archetypal problems and sufferings -of one kind or another- that most will face throughout their life. Oddly, he rarely gave admonishments of how to address the problems, with exception of staring into the bottom of a glass and contemplating one's lot. This could be a Zen influence.

No he didn't start a new religion.... and neither did Jesus. That happened a couple of hundred years after his death. Most interestingly, I don't think Jesus would have approved of what was done, either, since he was a practicing Jew. However, the message is the similar.

You know, Old-Reb, there have been many other Jones that have reported to be mystics, as well. Let us not forget the one that is reported to have conveyed through long dark tunnels, people , to unknown destinations, and them seeing bright lights at the other end; as in Casey. Jim, of KoolAid fame. Tom, a bright star who had a message of love and could enthrall thousands at his gatherings. Along with these, there was the great patriarch Mufasa; aka James Earl.

Then there was the great heretic, Davey, who claimed he was once a Monkee...

Through the grapevine of course, that the reason the Prophet George Jones (PBUH) felt so bad was that his wife, Mrs. Jones, was actually having an affair and left him for the other man. George (PBUH) found out that his wife and the other man were meeting every day, at the same cafe, at 6:30. They knew it was wrong but, I suppose the feeling was just too strong to let it cool down.

Let us not forget the man who some claim was actually the forerunner of the Prophet George (PBUH). Of course I am referring to Dr. Henry Jones, Jr., a brilliant professsor, and of course a tireless opponent of the Nazis. He was recorded to have said: "Nazis. I hate these guys."

So dry your tears, I seh. Yeah!

No, woman, no cry;

A little darlin', don't shed no tears:

In the government yard in Trenchtown, yeah!
And then Georgie would make the fire lights,

Old Reb, a bit of trivia is in order, since I happen to hold the memory of Bob Marley in high esteem, and believe he would most certainly want credit given where due. Bob Marley took those words from a speech made by Haile Selassie, who BTW, was not a rasta man, to the League of Nations:

"....Last May, in Addis Ababa, I convened a meeting of Heads of African States and Governments. In three days, the thirty-two nations represented at that Conference demonstrated to the world that when the will and the determination exist, nations and peoples of diverse backgrounds can and will work together. in unity, to the achievement of common goals and the assurance of that equality and brotherhood which we desire. On the question of racial discrimination, the Addis Ababa Conference taught, to those who will learn, this further lesson: That until the philosophy which holds one race superior and another inferior is finally and permanently discredited and abandoned: That until there are no longer first-class and second class citizens of any nation; That until the color of a man's skin is of no more significance than the color of his eyes; That until the basic human rights are equally guaranteed to all without regard to race; That until that day, the dream of lasting peace and world citizenship and the rule of international morality will remain but a fleeting illusion, to be pursued but never attained; And until the ignoble and unhappy regimes that hold our brothers in Angola, in Mozambique and in South Africa in subhuman bondage have been toppled and destroyed; Until bigotry and prejudice and malicious and inhuman self-interest have been replaced by understanding and tolerance and good-will; Until all Africans stand and speak as free beings, equal in the eyes of all men, as they are in the eyes of Heaven; Until that day, the African continent will not know peace. We Africans will fight, if necessary, and we know that we shall win, as we are confident in the victory of good over evil..."

Donna, this cut and paste is for you,
Is there a Muslim boy in your eye?
Hmmm, maybe I should marry a Muslim woman. I wonder if I could get her without the other things of Islam.

When I first began to study the topic, I did not realize that an Islamic marriage is not equivalent to a Christian marriage. Its rules, roles, and requirements are quite different. In a Christian marriage, the husband is given the role as head of the household, and the wife is expected to submit to the husband’s leadership. However, she is his equal in terms of social and religious status; she is not inferior to him. In Islam, the husband is the custodian of his wife. She is considered to be in-between slave and free. The woman is managed and controlled. The relationship between a married woman and her husband is similar to the relationship between parents and children. Parents have a responsible custody of their children and expect their obedience. When children are disobedient they are disciplined and sometimes spanked. Muhammad’s viewpoint of women was that they lack self-control, and thus for their own good, and societies’ good, they must be subordinate to their husbands. They must obey. Although an adult women is more mature and capable than a child she is still not equal to a man; thus is subject to him. Islam teaches that men are superior to women. When a man gives his bride a dowry, he is accredited the right to manage his wife. By accepting his dowry, a woman is giving her husband the right to her regulation.

Actually, when I told you that it didn't come out of the mouth of a Rastafari, I should have qualified what I said. It came out of the mouth of "the" Ras TaFari. That is Haille Sallassie's real name.

He was born TaFari Makonnen. He acquired the title "Ras", in 1916, when he became Regent and the heir to the throne of Ethiopia.

A bit more trivia.....

Did you know that, when Haile Sallassie I was crowned Emporer of Ethiopia, he was crowned: "King of Kings. Lord of Lords. Conquering Lion of the tribe of Judah. Elect of God. Earths Rightful ruler." ? Yes, mon!

Do you know why, mon?

According to the Ethiopians, he was the 225th king in a direct lineage of King Solomon and the Queen of Sheba, from Bayna-Lehkem, Menyelek I.

but how do you get there from that geneology? The Ethiopians trace themselves through the lineage of King Solomon and the Queen of Sheba. Cannan gave birth to Sidon, and Heth...then what? Just cause they are black and black people were slaves doesn't mean that they come from the lineage of Canaan. Jews became slaves to he Romans. So what? Try this on an inconspicuous area of your carpet, before you go "hog wild". It's for getting the odor off your "kitty", but it may work on the carpet as well:

In a large jar mix:

1/4 cup baking soda
1 quart hydrogen peroxide
1 tsp liquid dishwashing detergent
Mix well and pour over the animal's fur, being careful to avoid the eyes and mouth. Let sit for about 20 minutes and rinse well.
CAUTION: Do NOT store this mixture in a covered container. Dispose of all unused mixture immediately. It is a chemical mixture and can create explosive gasses if contained in a covered container.

Good luck! It could, possibly, bleach out the color.

Every man gotta right to decide his own destiny,
And in this judgement there is no partiality.
So arm in arms, with arms, we'll fight this little struggle,
'Cause that's the only way we can overcome our little trouble.

Brother, you're right, you're right,
You're right, you're right, you're so right!
We gon' fight (we gon' fight), we'll have to fight (we gon' fight),
We gonna fight (we gon' fight), fight for our rights!

No more internal power struggle;
We come together to overcome the little trouble.
Soon we'll find out who is the real revolutionary,
'Cause I don't want my people to be contrary.

And, brother, you're right, you're right,
You're right, you're right, you're so right!
We'll 'ave to fight (we gon' fight), we gonna fight (we gon' fight)
We'll 'ave to fight (we gon' fight), fighting for our rights!

To divide and rule could only tear us apart;

So soon we'll find out who is the real revolutionaries;
And I don't want my people to be tricked by mercenaries.

Hey, if you contained this mixture and attached it to one of your hobby rockets, would that make it an INBM (inter-neighborhood ballistic missile)?

Some of the guys in our group have been using Hydrogen Peroxide as an oxidizer, but it's a higher percentage than what you can "buy off the rack" at your local store.

I fly, mainly, ammonium perchlorate based solid fuels -the same formulation used in the solid rocket boosters of the space shuttle- and, "hybrid" engines that use liquid nitrous oxide and a PVC fuel grain; or most anything else for a fuel grain, that will burn. Once, I used a Gallo dried salami for a fuel grain. I worked nicely....

And BTW, we never use the "M" word, when talking about our rockets. We have enough issues with the BATFE, as it is....
