As far as I know, noone has mentioned the possibility of enacting a Demilitiarized zone around the Palestinian settlements. You'd of course, need to demolish a 200 yard or so area, place a barrier, and defend it with sniper towers.
If palestinian suicide bombers couldn't reach israeli areas, wouldn't this negate their influence a great deal?
How much would israel be hurt if palestinians were excluded from israeli areas? Would the trade-off be worth the security?

Very good idea.

I like your idea also, but with this twist. Put the DMZ around the whole West Bank and then also pull out all or at the very least, the most incendiary of the Jewish West Bank settlements.
p.s. I am Jewish myself, and I'm ashamed of the hate sentiments being expressed by both sides.

A DMZ is basically what has operated in the occupied territories for the last thirty years. It might be a fix to the current wave of trouble, but it wouldn't change the underlying dynamic. Also the wider world has expectations of progress based on Israeli withdrawl from the occupied territories in exchange for peace, and that can't be stalled for long.
The bigger question is whether Israel is prepared (can?) exist within smaller borders.
