I agree that its not a 100% solution, but maybe it's a 90% solution. In any event, a free Palestinian state in the West Bank would sure take a lot of wind out of the sails of the those who hate Israel (plus, it might put the Arab countries in the position of basically having to recognize Israel -- after all, it is basically unilaterally agreeing to the bulk of the Saudi peace proposal).
