shinui wants to dismantle netzarim in the Gaza strip and stop the liquidation policy of palestinian militants. It wants to revive the peaceproces with the palestinian prime minister.
Its proposal also includes a plan for a meeting with Qorei which should lead to a cease-fire.

I guess some people, like me, don't see the Gaza settlements as any kind of protection. Although these settlements are continuations of the settlements destroyed in the War of Independence, they should be evacuated and if a concession like this doesn't stop the terrorism, I don't know what will. However, Israel must maintain a buffer-zone on the Gaza-Egyptian border to prevent weapons smuggling, it is a fact that acquiring weapons would be much easier without an IDF presence and it is a fact that the Palestinians will try everything to get their hands on more powerful weapons against Israel. I mean think about it if the Gaza ports open - weapons will be flooding in.
