palestinians are mad, their towns are really in bad shape now... they seem to have world opinion on thier side, egging them on...

Hi. This is my first post here. :) Hope I can contribute.

I think yesterday's letter, below, from Moshe Feiglin, founder of Zu Artzeinu (http://www.manhigut.org/english/index.html), somewhat covers the question in its first part:

22nd Nissan

4th April 2002

Dear friends and supporters,

The IDF soldiers are endangering their lives for no clear cause. Tens of thousands of army reserve soldiers have been recruited, state of the art weapons are brought out from emergency storage – there are large movements of army forces, and all this for what?

The tactical answer that the Israeli government provides to this question is to destroy the terror foundations, but what we should really try to understand is what is the strategic plan? The answer is terrible – the strategic plan is to create a state for Arafat in the heart of Eretz Israel… unbelievable, but that is how the Prime Minister himself defined the strategic cause – “to establish a state for the Palestinians…”

It is clear to everyone that the IDF will not remain in Shechem, nor will it regain control of the Tomb of Joseph. Indeed this operation does have some tactical value, temporarily it will make it harder for the acts of terror to continue. However, without a clear ideological - strategic cause, only a short time will pass from the moment our forces withdraw until the re-establishment of the foundations of terror in any of the conquered places.

In order to remove the threat of terror from Israel, in order to really win the Oslo war – there is no need to recruit army reserve soldiers and to endanger IDF soldiers. Three things must be done.

A – To kill Arafat.


B – To return to the Temple Mount.


C – To bring to justice the Oslo criminals.


These three actions do not require army forces – including the killing of Arafat.


* Arafat must be killed because he is the head of the snake, and as long as Israel does not exterminate him – it is proving that it is still captivated in the Oslo process, and instead of exterminating the enemy, it wishes to obligate him to receive Eretz Israel. In other words – keeping Arafat alive means accepting the rightness of the enemy and agreeing to its claim of ownership over the land of Israel. Arafat is the symbol of the so – called Palestinian nationalism. His being alive is the living proof of the fact that this land belongs to a different nation. He should not be exterminated because of tactical reasons, because certainly there will be someone else to replace him. He should be exterminated simply because that is what truth and justice require.


* We must return to the Temple Mount, because as soon as we retreated from there, the wave of terror began and when we shall return, it will cease. The Temple Mount is our bond to the Almighty and the source of our justice. Renunciation of the Temple Mount is the final proof that “ we have no G-d” – that we do not hold on to any kind of justice – and that the Arabs’ struggle against us is justified, moral and legitimate. That is also the reason why they have become “martyrs” – the withdrawal from Temple Mount has left all holiness in their defiled hands.


* The Oslo criminals must be brought to justice because these snakes will continue to push Israel to its demise. The Seventh Day movement (the seventh million) - heiress of the Four Mothers’ movement is already organizing conferences and all the other criminals are already lifting their heads. The absence of a clear strategic cause from the right leaves a void and the left-wing movements are growing like germs on an open wound. We must condemn them before they penetrate through the wounds that they have already caused, and infect the Israeli society without hope of a cure.

As you may remember the first advert caused a large stir - how much Jewish blood would have been saved if someone had taken responsibility and eliminated Arafat then.
