View Full Version : Concern over Massacre PR Sham

Israel's battle against Palestinian terrorism has had a considerable amount of PR hurdles to overcome. So far, the Palestinians have excelled at explaining their "plight" to the sympathetic world, so much so that the world has ignored the slaughter of innocent Israelis, focusing instead on making sure that arch-terrorist Arafat is kept warm and "comfy" and well-fed.

But today, the Israeli cabinet and the Israeli press is getting ready to face a new potential PR disaster in the next few days or weeks.

It seems that the Palestinians are preparing to gather the bodies of the dead terrorists in the Palestinian refugee camp of Jenin, and to present those bodies to the world press as evidence of a wide-scale Israeli massacre.

To accomplish this latest sham, the Palestinian officials are already refusing to bury the bodies of the dead, apparently hoping to inflame world opinion further against Israel and to justify future terrorism against innocent Israelis.

Even though the world should ordinarily be pleased that Israel has eliminated those terrorists, one can be sure that the bodies would be presented without the weapons they were using to do battle, and without any context for their deaths. They will be regarded as ordinary, peace-loving citizens massacred by Israel for no reason at all, other than being Palestinian.

If, in fact, the Palestinians will succeed in duping the naiive and gullible TV audiences of the world, Israel could potentially suffer a major setback from a PR point of view.

Your reaction?

The question IS...is America standing by a letting this happen without a word?

America can demean this big lie, if it wants to. They squashed this kind of thing when it happened in Afganistan and they could here IF...they wanted to.

We all learned that part of an attack is standing by and doing and saying nothing. Well????

I think the PR mud slinging is kinda a two way thing. Israel cliams they did this and that, and then the PA claims this and that and ultimately no one outside the Israel/Palestine borders gives too great a damn. :D :p

Israel is like a postage stamp in a football field in the arab world... arab greed is at the root... it is time for the arab world to just forget about Israel... go about your lives as if she just wasn't there, you don't recognise her anyhow... so just forget about her.... leave her alone, stop molesting Israel, stop the extortion, the demonic hate... just leave her alone. Give the pals some land... you have plenty of room MORE THAN PLENTY.

It is high time to stop moaning about the Big Bad Palestinians, the Poor Gullible Undereducated Media and The Whole World Is Against Us and get down to develop a decent PR strategy instead.

My guess is that "the world" doesn't give a damn about good reasons neither for eliminating terrorists nor for anything else, all that matters to it is the warm and fuzzy feeling it gets when "standing up for the rights of the Palestinian people".

In this case the actual question is how to counteract on the very emotional level the Palestinians excel at. Any ideas?
