Muslim extremists burnt the Union flag outside a London mosque today.

The demonstration comes as nine British Muslims are still being questioned by anti-terror police at Paddington Green after raids across the South East this week. Meanwhile, radical cleric Abu Hamza condemned the Prime Minister in front of 150 supporters at Finsbury Park. He said Britain's Muslim leaders were "hypocrites" for calling on community leaders to guard against terrorists and accused them of conspiracy with Mr Blair to win votes.

Watched by uniformed police officers, Abu Hamza held his usual Friday prayers on the pavementoutside north London's Finsbury Park mosque. The sermon ended peacefully after 45 minutes and all of Hamza's followers left without speaking to the press whom they were told were part of the conspiracy that spread lies.

At Regent's Park, al-Muhajiroun's spokesman Abdul Rehman Saleem said: "There is nothing that me and you or the British services or the Government can do about stopping an attack in this country. There is nothing Tony Blair, this liar, can do to stop al Qaeda. There is nothing that MI5 or MI6 can do to stop al Qaeda from bombing London.

"That is the reality and the only person to blame is Tony Blair himself. They warned him in Madrid - pull your troops out and we will not bomb you. They did not listen. They gave them bloodshed in Madrid.

"They warned them in New York - stop the terrorism in Afghanistan and Iraq. They did not listen. They gave them bloodshed in New York. Now Tony Blair has been warned."

Al-Muhajiroun supporters also ripped up copies of a letter sent by the Muslim Council of Britain calling for Muslims to fight terror.

Muslims cannot co-operate with local authorities against other members of the faith, the outspoken leader of an Islamic group has said.

Sheikh Omar Bakri Muhammad was reacting to a call from the Muslim Council of Britain for the community to play its part in the fight against terrorism, following the anti-terrorism raids earlier this week in which eight men were arrested.

The mainstream Council is trying to limit "rogue" Islamic preachers, blaming them for brainwashing young men and promoting holy war against the West

But Sheikh Omar told BBC Radio 4's Today programme: "Muslims have a unique way of life. Co-operating with the authorities against any other Muslims, that is an act of apostasy in Islam.

"Having said that, Muslims in Britain have the right to defend themselves, but without the use of violence. They can gather together, speak with the imams.

"The imams themselves should lecture the Muslim community, not the Muslim Council of Britain who are all of them a bunch of seculars."

Sheikh Omar complained that the media was "demonising" the Muslim community in Britain, and that a "cycle of violence" has been created by both terrorists and the British and American response.

But Shahid Malik, a member of Labour's governing National Executive Committee said that the Muslim Council of Britain's actions had been "very appropriate, very responsible".

Mr Malik said: "We cannot live in a fantasy world. Half-a-tonne of ammonium nitrate was found. I think that has been a big wake-up call, and I think that has been the catalyst for the action of the Muslim Council.

"Those involved in terrorism are not following the Muslim and Islamic way. Anybody involved in crime, it is the duty of all citizens to help the police and report them."

That is just sick it really is as a British man and very excepting of everyone I should not expect to open a British paper and seethat stuff by any one especially to see it come from a NON-CHRISTIAN building (we dont have to give/sell them this land) it is totally disrepectful and infuriates me greatly. "Why do they not expect that the violation of honour, desecration of Korans and the sanctities, the brutal crimes in occupied Muslim countries such as Palestine, Iraq, Afghanistan, Kashmir and Chechnya will push some people to take revenge, to meet killing with killing. Why do they not expect this?"

The article adds that the solution is the creation of an Islamic state. "It will bring back the Muslim world's glory and power and cut the hand of every non-believing colonialist who extends his hand to harm the Muslim countries and it will protect Islam, the honour of Muslims and their sanctities. It will begin the conquests and spread goodness to all corners of the world."

The way many in the West use the word Crusade muslims use the word Jihad.

For example a woman who petitions to have an anti-semitic book taken out of the public library is considered to be on a Crusade against racism.

Martin Luther King Jr actually stated he was on a Crusade as well.

The muslim use Jihad the same way.

The difference is that the Islamic World has launched violent Jihads against democracy.
