Dear Mr. President,
I understand your inclination to encourage a yesterday's enemy who has genuinely changed his ways. Unfortunately, the "shift" by Libyan dictator Moammar Qaddafy seems deceiving. Libya hosts the World Chess Championship this year. According to the Associated Press, on May 5 the president of the Libyan Organizing Committee, Mohammad Qaddafy (the dictator's son), announced: "We did not and will not invite the Zionist enemies to this championship..."
Mr. President, your silence or worse, your embrace of Libyan ruling clan may be disastrous for the security and the future of America and our allies' worldwide. I urge you to support Israel, not those who still dreams of making the world Judenfrei, yet blames Israel for being "racist".
