Snip:

At least 46 people have been killed and dozens wounded in coordinated attacks on government buildings in three towns near Russia's border with Chechnya. Officials said the raids were carried out by dozens of Chechen, Ingush and "possibly" foreign fighters, but Russian Interior Ministry troops repelled the attacks

Create a Roadmap. I hear those things are bulletproof.

The only question I have is when will they be given observer status at the UN and will Chris Patten and Terje Larsen declare them peaceful resisters of Zionist aggression?

A hell of a way to start a day!

When Russia gets the Iranian reactors up and running they’ll face a greater threat down the road.

Talk to many Russians - they are very straight on what should be done to Islamic terrorists and how exactly it should be done.

The stuff about Russia desagreeing with the US and selling technology to Iran has more to do with politics and the limited capabilities of Russian economy.

And The Chechen terrorism is not part of the big "World Jihad" it is a local war over control of Chechnia and the big pipeline that deliveres a big amount of oil acrosss Russian, infact there was no chechen terrorism before Yeltsin sent his troops there.

That's what the Chechens say - I am just repeating it. Read kavkas.org.

Russia would have survived without the pipeline. The war is about Chechen's wanting to scede this Russian territory from Russia. Or at least it was what it was about in the beginning.

, infact there was no chechen terrorism before Yeltsin sent his troops there.

And???????????? They had their complete autonomy for over 3 years and the buildings they blew were all real....

Yeltsin sent the troops in the early 90s, because he was afraid Chechnia will declare independance and take all the cash for themselves, and no Russia is no different than Dubai or Kuweit they depend on oil 2 years of cheap oil and Russia will be in chaos again, the pipeline deliveres a big percentage of the oil and is vital to the Russian economy.

So you could also say that there was no Chechen terrorism before Chechnya tried to break away from Russia.

As far as I’m concerned there’s an interrelationship between all Islamic terrorists.

Of course the Great Global Jihad is a myth. The truth is that there is an isolated uprising in Palestine, where they only want independence. There is something going on in Sudan, a very unclear local issue. Then there is Iraq, where muslims from the world over come to defend their brothers from the American occupiers. The only instance of global jihad was the 9/11 attacks, carried out by some now-irrelevant nut case in Afghanistan.

I actually don't see why anyone cares one way or the other. It's not as if you're going to get the UN or Brussels to object to Islamic inspired terrorism. Even Putin has lost any backbone he once had. This is a non event and that's probably going to backfire for the terrorists themselves because Europe and Russia have surrendered already and don't especially care if they are picked off one at a time or all exterminated at once.

Just put Osama's face on the Euro and call it a day.

Lets put it this way. Chechens are fighting in Iraq, Kashmir and Afganistan and Saudis, Jordanians, Lebanese and the rest are fighting in Chechnya - all proven facts. If this is not a global Jihad I don't know what it is.... KSO?

You're correct!
