I am optomistic about one thing about one thing and pesimistic abut another.

I am sure the international community will find a way for peace to exist in the ME. In this I am quite optomistic.

I am pessimistic over Palestinian acceptance of any peace plan that does not include the Jewish destertion of Israel. They want every Jew out; preferrably dead.

There is no way the current leadership of the Palestinian people will ever accept peace.

Yes, of course. The Palestinian Islamic dream of Jihad-genocide of the Jews in Israel is the cornerstone of their existence.

But peace is not really necessary. If the Palestinian terror machine can be kept enough that a state of non-war can be achieved, then that would be a fine outcome until a future generation of Palestinians arises which is capable of living alongside a civilized democracy like Israel and making peace.

But Israel has no need for peace with the Palestinians. The Palestinians have nothing to offer Israel or the world in return for peace, so that's why just a state of non-war would be fine.
