From J Post:
In what was described by the army as an assassination, Lt.-Col. Yehuda Edri, 45, of Military Intelligence, was shot in the head at point-blank range by a Palestinian informer he had planned to meet 300 meters from the entrance to the Jerusalem-Gush Etzion (tunnel) road yesterday morning.
The informer also wounded a 20-year-old soldier, Edri's bodyguard, who sat next to him in the car. A second IDF guard who sat in the back seat pursued the informer as he attempted to flee the area and shot him dead in a roadside olive grove.
The informer was later identified as Hassan Abu Sha'ira from the El Aida refugee camp in Bethlehem. The Fatah Tanzim in Bethlehem claimed responsibility for the murder..."
