In direct violation of the cease-fire agreement, the PA refuses to arrest terrorists targeting Jewish victims.

Found this in Haaretz:

Palestinian security officials at a joint security meeting held Friday in Jerusalem rejected the Israeli demand that they arrest Hamas and Islamic Jihad activists who are planning further terrorist attacks against Israel, Israel Radio reported.

The three-way security meeting was attended by Israel and the Palestinians as well as U.S. Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) representatives.

The Palestinians said that they would not carry out any arrests as Israel was not carrying out its obligations as defined in the cease-fire plan presented earlier in the week by CIA chief George Tenet.

I don't really believe that Arafat has the ability to survive if he goes on an all-out war against terrorists.

For him, it would be political and actual suicide to do so.

Not only the question of feasability, but of basic motivation to do so.

Arafat has deliberately chosen to conduct a violent campaign of terrorism to beat Israel, because he saw that Hizbullah did so successfully in Lebanon.

He knows that ultimately he will win many more concessions from Israel with violence than without.

I'm sick and tired of hearing how Arafat can't bring the terrorists under control, maybe it's time to talk with someone on the Palestinian side who can. The only other option is for Israel to go all out and retake complete control of the Palestinians Territories and set up an administration that can eventually make up the Palestinian government.

Agreed.

But don't expect Arafat to step down voluntarily. Israel will need to remove him by force, which I hope thay do.

The question is whether there is any palestinian leadership altogether that is stronger than the moslem terrorist groups, and even if there is such an entity, will they want to fight their moslem terrorist brothers?

Jews still dying from Arab terrorism as the truce charade goes on. When will they learn?

My prediction is that when the next mass suicide bombing takes place, we might see some real action against terrorists.

Too bad many more innocent Israleis will have to die.

Also, as of today (6/17) Even Tenet doesn't think that the truce will hold.
