View Full Version : Few words from an Israeli girl

IL-Truth

I am new here... just came for a short visit...
I am a Jewish, Israeli girl but even more I am a proud Zionist. More even after reading the hatred words by few people here, especially Beligium@EU...

My best friend serves IDF, his friends sacrificed their lives ONLY to spare Palestinian innocent lives... These even were their last words...

and although I am terrified for my friend's safety and he means everything to me I still think they should not bomb Palestinian terror nests from the air so it will not hurt innocent civilians.

Personal note to Beligium@EU and similar to him:
I never raised my voice at anyone ...or hurt anyone in all my life and I am probably the sweetest person there is but frankly I will love to kick your Tansim@Hamas ass for the Hatred you spray about Israel and if not me... then my German Christian boyfriend

And God bless the people who stand with Israel!!!

Bold Posted by Belgium and then removed:

All those who did not listen to universal truth written by a genius will continue to absorb punishment from palestinians and alike. You jews are no better than the most filthy arab terrorist. You are getting just a portion of what you deserved and continue to get you ass fried in future.
Zieg Heil

A couple of members on this board caught this message before Belgium removed it. It shows the low mentality of some people. I think that if this is the general mentality among Palestinians then they should be bombed from the air. Give me a reason to think that Islamic Fundamentalists aren’t being driven by religious madness and their goal isn’t the complete destruction of Israel and the United States.

I challenge someone to give ONE reason why Belgium@UE should not be banned.

IL,

Why just a short visit? Please, come in, drink some coffee, stay for a while...

There are plenty of people here who support Israel very strongly.

The Israeli people do not stand alone. Israel has friends all over the world. You can meet some of them right here.

I've never completely understood what Zionism is.

Sometimes it seems like there's a camp that thinks "we're God's chosen people and israel is the Promised Land so it's ours by default"

Is that Zionism? I hope not. BEcause if that's Zionism, then its discriminatory.

Somebody please enlighten me.
(I apologize if that sounds at all incendiary. I don't mean it as such.)

Belgium should not be banned on the grounds of freedom of speech and that he actually is just portraying an opinion.

On a related note, Israel's only "friends" are the USA and the UK.

No one else really cares either way.

ok, I'll refer to this point publicly because I have been approached privately by a few members whose opinions I value very much.

For me, it's not really a matter of free speech per se, because we're all subject to the "Rules of the Road" (http://www.israelforum.com/board/showthread.php3?postid=26#post26), which prohibits racist content.

But for me, as one of 3 moderators, he serves a particular purpose. Not that he does a particularly good job of it, but he expresses opinions that many other readers share. And when he posts his opinions, it gives others the chance to counter those opinions -- not for his benefit, but rather for the benefit of our tens-of-thousands of readers.

Some of our readers are journalists, some are politicians, some are looking for answers to statements they read elsewhere on the Internet (or in their universities or at their workplaces), and most are just plain interested in the topic.

For all our readers, it benefits us to hear diverse opinions and discussions and I will defend anyone's right to post their opinions no matter how much I may disagree with that opinion personally.

However...

If someone repeatedly violates our "Rules of the Road," then I guess that person would be subject to banning, if they have a negative impact on our community. If Belgique would have left the comment that Lamplighter presented here, I would have dealt with this matter in a different way.

As it is, we all have the chance to see the true face of Belgique, and can draw our own conclusions moving forward. Already 2 members have stated publicly that they won't bother to deal with him, and I know they are not the only ones.

In a community like ours, the members of the community deal with it as they see fit. I can say that it's been my observation that high-quality participation gets high-quality responses and low-quality participation gets the same in return. That's another self-regulating aspect of a community like ours.

* * *

Anyway, I repeat my invitation to all reading this discussion to join in and participate. Find any thread that interests you and respond, no matter what your opinion might be.

:)

And that is all I ever wanted. To show his true face.

People like that are pure evil and dwell all around us. It could be a coworker, a friendly storeowner, your teacher or professor, anyone………………………..unfortunately.

lomplighter, do you work for the mossad?
You seem to be good at presenting "evidence" to destroy someones reputation, yet i don't think for a second Belgium ever posted this ********.
Not all Jews are guilty of the policy of the leaders of israel, that is BS of course.
israeli girl, i understand you love your country and want to defend it, but you should know that palestinians do the same. if you want a peacefull future for your country you should stop thinking about revenge and think about some solutions that might be honest for both israel and the Palestinians. In that case you should resist sending more troops in the occupied territories and join the peace-movement in your country. many people do already.

if (and only IF) what you posted was actually posted by belgium@EU than you are right - it does shed new light on the guy. I used to believe him for a sensible person.

It seems that the Europeans alone here have the neutrality and sense to make non biasded posts. The Us-Israeli lobby which has for long deceided the course of world politics is again here makng blatantly racist posts (ala "smelly" Palestinians) and is crying over a few comments which differed from:

"Oh I love Israel. Every one loves Israel. Why dont all the Arab states from Palestine to Iraq and Oman give up there land to Israel. Only Jews are human, non Jews are scum. Brown ppl are less human..........."

Thats actually the mind frame of a few of you-incredible isnt it.

I wish I'd never cought up, but It was not I who wrote that. It was a friend of me who was just BS'ing while I was gone. Indeed, what was stated there is anti-semitism BS. I have nothing to do with it, only that this person has (ab)used my nick. The story sounds silly, but that's the truth. But if you wanna bann me for this; I can understand, just trying to explain. I'm really here to communicate, not just to start flame wars.

This is complete BS and I have nothing to do with it. I saw it after he just posted the mail and I immediatelly deleted it. If I would be that extreme, don't you think I would want everybody to see it???? It's up to you ...

The "Zieg Heil" comments were disgusting and the guy who wrote it, doesn't know what he's talking about. But I was PO (pissed off). So excuses for what happened, my opinions are different than many on this forum, but we all know this **** shouldn't be taken serious. I don't share his opinion in any way. In fact, I also condemned another Arab-guy for being too extreme himself. It's this kind of people that let us "pro-PA"look bad. A same ... I hope a reasonable explenation?

So what lamp said was true, he probably also works for the Mossad but that has nothing to do with it :-). But i'm being honest and say I have nothing to do with it. the other "anti-semite" comment was mine, but that was in a reaction on NewsGuy. I shouldn't let my computer on while I'm gone. But before you judge anyone, just look at yourself and ask the reason why I deleted it. If I would be such a bad person, Lamp, as you want to believe, i would want to show my comments to the other posters, but I'm not.

Hamas is terrorism, but I still stand by my other points. I hope we can forget on this incident and I understand Il Truth 100%. I'm not being hypocritic.

But even if I meant what I said (which i'm not), Lamp and co. You are also making racist remarks which hurt other people (in particular the French and Arabs). And some of your points (like the start a war between palestinians) are also quite sick. But I do know you're here 24/7 , trying to find a way to bring people down. I can already hear you crying hoo-ra!

If I was the one who wrote It, I would be proud on it. The other day, the "Auswitz" comment on the "smelly Palestininians" were mine, and I said so. You also see that this post was deleted only a minute after it was posted.

I'm trying to be reasonable here and then this post...

I wish you wouldn't do that.

Belgium,

Make sure you don't make mistake twice like the belgrade bombing at Chinese embassy. Or You will run out of "mistake". :D

Belgium@EU
05-14-2002, 06:50 AM
I meant I would be proud to show it, if I was such an evil person. But I'm not, so that means I hate showing it. If you write something on a forum, you want everybody to see it, so than it would be stupid of me to delete it only seconds after it was posted. Understand it?

I would have to say that this is a textbook case for "a little more is too much"

You explained the situation AND your position in post #13, and I understood it. That should've ended it.

out of the blue, you come up with this extra explanation. WHY?!? this new post #15 does not add any new information, you use hypothetical situation for reasoning "If I... then I would..." and make reference to some obscure post where you mentioned "Auswitz"!
and this is supposed to what? make things clearer?!?

the ONLY thing this post made is caused a confusion on my side.

I really really wish you wouldn't do that.

Don't feel compelled to answer this.

Give the neo-Nazi/Islamic Fundamentalist or supporter a break.

Belgium@EU
05-14-2002, 10:59 AM
There's no need for confusion, post 13 has said it all. The ... if ... if situation was just another proof that the first post was not mine.

If (sorry) it would be me who posted that ****, I would use the word Israeli's an not Jews when I talk about this subject. This was is not only a war between religions but also between nations. Referring to the jews had nothing to do with the post: there are Jews who aren't israeli and vica versa. Look at my previous post, I always use the word 'Israel' (execpt when discussing religious matters).

Lomplighter wants me to be a neo-nazi/extremist, but I'm not. It's easy to use ones computer and post whatever you want. If you don't believe the story, I don't care. Than I just leave. I'm not staying here for the nice and friendly people :p apart from some exeptions like Takeo and Christian, who I respect very much.

BTW, my name is Benjamin, sounds Arab, not! Or Neo nazi? In WWII, I would probably already be arrested because my name is Jewish, so I feel no sympathy for nazi's or extreme right. I'm more of a leftie.
