Just looking at historical facts, the Arabs never cared at all for their children. Building bombs factories in residential homes, storing weapons in those homes, selling machine guns in the streets of Gaza to children, shooting at IDF soldiers from shools full of children, sending out children with bombs strapped to their bodies, etc. doesn't exactly demonstrate great parenting skills in the Western sense.

The poor treatment of children might just be a Palestinian way of coping with the severe overpopulation problem they are facing, and a willingness to trade the lives of their children for a few Iraqi and dinars.
