Thanks, Semsem, I have been meaning to watch this snippet, you gave me a nudge. I must admit, I almost vomit when looking at this twisted and perverse scumbag!
To think there are wankers out there, who believe this is no more than vitriolic propaganda. Hell, some of them are on this forum... better grab an antacid!

Richard what makes me sick is when I heard Blair give his condolences to the Palistinian people. Also when I hear Chirac mutter how emotional he was at the death and when I hear Germany praise this great leader! That's what makes me want to vomit on their lap.

Me, as well Semsem, to be honest, I must look up to see what our own 'leadership' said about Arafat: no doubt, much the same BS, as the Euros and others.
From what I have seen, read and witnessed personally, Roland, seems to be an anomaly as a German or Euro… perhaps, Roland can clarify, if he is a rare non-anti-Semite, being a German and Euro.
Europe has regressed to the 30’s… and it scares the hell out of me, as I’m sure it does you and others. It’s the out-and-out denial of the likes of Chirac and Schroeder that makes me want to puke, too. We know by their actions and non-actions, they despise Israel and Jews, so why do they continue this charade?

<<Europe has regressed to the 30’s<<
Yes, I agree but in a different way. Since the holocaust, it is no longer respectable to be an antisemite. Did you notice that no antisemite will admit to being one as it's an insult to be called that even among them.
So to get at the Jews they bash at Israel. They say they "accept" Israel but they also make it impossible for Israel to defend itself by saying that any defence is "against international law" or "disprportionate."
It's an indirect way of trying to destroy Israel "through the back door." So yes I agree with you it's the same as the 30's but hidden if you know what I mean.

I have nothing against Germans who believe in reconciliation but many don't care and don't want to be reminded. I learnt a lot about Germany because my mother went to Court there to try to get her building in Berlin back. We experienced both good and outright antisemitism. Her case lasted 5 years. I went to Berlin and my mother had to go several times. For me it was an unpleasant experience.

I could only stand watching CNN for limited time. There were a few issues that astounded me, and make me wonder what planet CNN is on:
1. When they showed film clips of the coffin's being accompanied in Ramallah. The film *showed* men apparently exaltent, facial expressions were jubilant, BUT the announcer *said* that these people were "grief-striken".
2. A CNN female talking head interviewed a Palestinian man who claimed to be Arafat's "personal physician" for many years. He did not accompany "his" patient to Paris (very weird), and yet complained during the entire interview that the French doctors had misreported on Arafat's condition.
Mayleh, but what I couldn't figure out was the CNN interviewer who asked this man several times if this made him "suspicious". Suspicious of whom? Where the hell was she trying to go with this? It was clear that the interviewee also had no idea of what she was trying to draw out of him, so she finally dropped it abruptly.
3. During a Business slot, several people were interviewed, including a prominent Palestinian, and all said that Arafat's billions belonged to the Palestinian people and should be returned.
NOT A ONE actually called Arafat a thief.
4. All the sycophants declare that Arafat's "dream" was to establish a "Palestinian state". WRONG. Arafat's dream was to destroy Israel and get rid of the Jews (and G-d help the Arab-Israelis). A short stroll down memory lane would prompt asking what connection exists between killing Israeli Olympic athletes in Germany, killing Israeli children at Maalot, murdering a wheelchair-bound American Jewish tourist in Cyprus, etc. ad nauseum, and "establishing a Palestinian state".
CNN is making more of this mamzer's death than "his people" are.
This is what nauseates me.
