Probably much more since a large proportion of Germany's Muslim population comes from countries considered more or less moderate, such as Turkey and Bosnia.

I agree that it’s most likely higher than that, but I didn’t want to exaggerate the figures. Of course when their supporters are figured in to the numbers you would end up with a figure in the millions.
EU like the US seems oblivions to the potential danger from these madmen.
I would think that 100 of these madmen could theoretically bring Israel to its knees.
How many would it take to cripple the EU or the US?

Europe is already crippled.
I saw an interview with that "far right" politician who was recently murdered -- in Denmark I think. Apparently, in Europe you are considered "far right" if you don't tow the leftist ideological line.
This guy was very reasonable. His controversial policy was that he wanted to freeze immigration. He made it very clear that those people who had already immigrated were welcome and should receive all of the protection and privileges already in place.
This "far right" politician was openly gay. His concern re: Islam was legitimate. In Iran, they execute people for being homosexuals.
I don't know anything about Le Pen, but seeing that he got nearly 20% of the vote in France, I wonder just how "far right" he really is. I understand he has made some nasty comments about Jews and/or Israel. But I can also understand why reasonable Frenchmen -- there must be some -- would be alarmed by the influx of militant immigrants. I'll bet that the majority of anti-semitic attacks in France are being carried out by Muslim extremists.

It`s Pim Fortuyn, he was from Netherlands.

Well, Le Pen and Fortuyn are two totally other persons and they represent other ideas.
Fortuyn is what we call a popular politician. What he says is not always right, but he represents what a lof people think. In Holland, he was very popular, and after his death, he still dominates the news. The Iman of Rotterdam said that gays should be slaughtered just like dogs. Forturn's answer was reasonable and supportive : if that's how Islam thinks, than I have the right to say that Islam is a backward religion. And this is true: Islam is backward (about 1200 years), but that doesn't mean people should be treated worse than Americans or Europeans.
Le Pen is a neo-fascist. According to him, holocaust was just a footnote in history and Yids should stop whinging on this. Israel was the first country to pull back its embassador from Paris if Le Pen would have won the elections. Luckily "escrot" has beaten "fasco".

The BBC news called him "far right."
Sounds to me like the "Imam of Rotterdam" is the extremist. I am all for immigration - the U.S. is a nation of immigrants. However, I find it obnoxious that the "Imam of Rotterdam" thinks Western values should be overthrown in deference to his intolerance.
If he needs to live in a brutal and intolerant society, he should immigrate to Iran, Saudi Arabia, or live under the PA thugocracy.

Amazingly, he still sounds moderate compared to Islamic militants who call Jewish nationalists "Zionazis" and claim Israel is worse than Nazi Germany.
Saying Jews should stop whining about the holocaust is no worse than what most most EU leaders say when they defend Arafat and condemn Israeli self-defense.

Danes realized that by the year 2025 Denmark would end up being a predominately Arab/Muslim country. The current Danish government was elected because they were the only party that promised to stop the flood of Arab/Muslims.
There was an outcry from the EU when they won the election last year and the Danish PM was called to Brussels to explain his political platform.
The Danes were just fed up with the rise in crime and the bad attitude of the Arab/Muslims towards Danish women. There was also the fact that Arab/Muslims were spending too much time in the horizontal position and producing offspring’s at an alarming rate (much the same in the WB and GS.
I believe the average Arab/Muslim produced/is producing 6-7 children and this is/was becoming very taxing on the system (people receive a child subsidy).
This year Denmark is poised to head the council of the EU and the Swedish Emigration Minister lodged complaints to the EU. Her complaint was that the Danish Administration is racist because it adopted strict immigration policies.
Earlier this month (May 2002) there was an annual meeting in Norway of the Scandinavian countries and one thing on the agenda was immigration. Currently the EU is shifting to the right and I expect that this will continue far into the foreseeable future.
I don’t think this is to be construed as a resurgence of Fascism in the EU (of the type that caused the genocide of 6,000,000 Jews and 5,000,000 others. This is a shift to stop Arab/Muslims to conquer the EU by immigration and the subsequent production of large families.
France has a particular large Arab/Muslim/Islamic population base and seems to be a hot spot for anti Semitic activity. The government there has largely lost its ability to deal with the problem. I don’t think the current newly elected administration has the will or the power to stop anti Semitism in France. Other countries of the EU because of their large
The EU has its share of neo Nazis and skinheads but it’s my opinion that a large percentage of their anger/hatred is directed at Arab/Pakistanis and Muslims in general.
Most (from what I can gather)of the attacks that have been directed at the Jewish population in the EU have come from Muslims although there has also been support from the white Europeans.
Oddly there doesn’t appear to be the same bond between Islam and the KKK that can be found in the US.

Holland is experiencing what America experienced nearly 20 years ago with the rise of mainstream Libertarianism. Pym Fortuyn would have fit very nicely with a large cross section of American Libertarians, perhaps the Log Cabin Republicans. What he was saying was not that far right by most American standards. I think you will see more and more politicians like this reacting to the welfare state, immigration, the spread of government.
