A string of death threats against senior political figures has now, for the first time, reached the Israel Defense Forces as well.

Brigadier General Ilan Paz, the head of the IDF civilian administration in the West Bank, received a death threat this week from a far-right activist.

The letter, which is the first of its kind to be sent to an IDF officer, threatens Paz with "death by the hand of G-d," and accuses him of being a "leftist" and prioritizing the needs of Palestinians above those of the settlers.

So?

You are acting like the people who send these letters don't have good reasons to do so. The problem is not them, but Sharon's refusal to hold a refferendum.

As long as Palestinians are killing Jews, it's an acceptable yet regretable circumstance. But as soon as Jews threaten to kill other Jews, it's time for a national alert to actually get off their behinds and do something. I'm sure all Jewish Dead of Yesha really appreciate that sentiment and that the irony of that is not lost on their dead souls.
