Generally speaking, I consider any game (a source of enjoyment and fun) related to killing, blood, violence and all serious stuff as a disgusting and/or immoral thing.

Look at the world and look at gaming community now in general(Half life Unreal, Quake III,...etc). I think you are virtually alone in your thinking.

Well, I do like chess and card games. In fact, there's a game called 'Go' (Japanese I think) I'm very curious and I would like to learn.

About being alone in my thinking... don't worry about it, I'm used to. Besides, I'm proud of being the master of my own thinking rather than going with the flow and being in a state of hypnosis.

I don't know who said this, but I quite like it and I hope you too:If 10 million people believe a foolish idea, it is still a foolish idea.

"Your child will learn about Islam by playing lots of exciting
games, full of colourful animations and cute sounds effects.
Six different games to choose from, with lots of levels -
each time they play its different - lots of fun!
The games revolve around an Islamic database of over
1000 questions - each with audio, and lots of images.
Three separate age groups supported :
5-7 years, 8-10 years and 11 and over
- each with its own database of questions.
Makes a great gift.
It will keep the whole family entertained for years to come !"

I wonder where the proceeds go...

Can the CD be reprogrammed to eliminate the Jews and replace them with Arabs?

That Islamic Resistence game looks crude and stupid, oh..hell ****in Atari 2600 game look better. The IDF could make a credible game using a modified unreal of quake III engine. Weapons could include IMI micro Uzi, M-16, CAR-15, M-4, Tavor, Galil rifles, Ruger 22/10 siper rifles , KAC 25 sniper rifles. And don't bash the Idea because you are some idealistic, on realistic pacifist.

:) Or maybe Elke, it can be reinvented with a a online FRAG mode as well, so Christians and Jews can by it too and kick their asses online like in the real world.

Well, since the game is going to use the Unreal engine, I`m quite sure that mods that alter weapons into Israeli weapons would be released.

:D Someone please explain how a pagan shintoist is in a land where three religions worship for one all supreme god.

No, offence. But, that is kind of like a polar bear in a coal shed.

I took a few stabs at learning Go. Man is that **** hard! I was never much of a chess player but I've always played Othello, reversi, owari, gipf (sorry no skills in dvonn, zertz and tamsk) but I find Go to be very tough - mostly because the skill level of good players is so damn high.

It's like the national board game of Japan.

:) I prefer realtime stragedy games myself like C and C, Star control, starcraft, Total anhilation, Age of empires myself. As for board games a occasional game of battleship or monoply.

Mahjong rules. There`s a great 3d version of the game, at kyodai.com , it has some of the sweetest music ever.
