Israel's government security officers claim that the cease-fire is a lie, terror continues as 5 Jews are shot by sniper fire. Now Powell is visiting Israel in an attempt to get the cease-fire on track, but brings with him no new proposals.
The US stated that while the violence has decreased it still has not reached the levels to go to the next step in the cease-fire.
What we have here is the US, Eupope and Israel trying to create a cease-fire from the ashes of Palestinian grenades and mortars.
This is a waste of human lives to continue this so called cease-fire, and Powell should not even bother going to Israel, because it is a waste of his time.
