A Full Plate is a benefits project which helps support hungry families

150,000 Israeli families did not eat meat or
poultry in over a month!

You can make a difference…

The Problem. Tens of thousands of Israeli families are faced with particularly difficult financial situations. They are unable to provide essentials like chicken, meat, and other food products that are necessary for the proper growth of their children.

The Goal. Every parent tries to provide for the daily needs of their family. Yet, there are those who are just not capable of meeting those demands. Project "A Full Plate" is there to assure these families that they too can come home to a nutritious and satisfying meal that includes a portion of meat or chicken at least twice a week.

The Method. Every head of household is issued a debit card in their name. These cards cannot be used by anyone except the family that has been approved by the project. The head of household can then purchase nutritional food products in designated supermarkets like any other shopper. They can spend up to fifty four dollars a month. Each card is good for six months after which time it can be extended for additional use pending a further assessment of the family's finances. Project "A Full Plate" makes sure that every family is able to accept these donations with the utmost privacy and respect.

Our Advantage. All contributions are used solely for the purchasing of nutritional supplements. Your money is not used to hire a staff to oversee the project, establish a distribution center, package, transport and distribute food, etc. Most importantly, our project assures the utmost privacy and dignity to those people from all over Israel who receive aid.

Adopt a Family. Our families are struggling as a result of financial difficulties and according to our criteria they are eligible for assistance. Help us assure the children of these families the same level of proper nutrition that you want for your own children
