picture published by Novoje Vremja named Russian newspaper 24 April 2003

24 april, thousands of armenians were marching against Turks and Semitism in Yarevan, its too close, just in 2003. if you research more, you shall see many propogands like this against us.

one of them:
you may know an Jewish Armenian leader Rima Varjapetian-Feller, if you make a new research, you will find that stuff like Nazi Crossed Jewish monument in Yarevan again. And sooner one more Jewish Association been attacked by Armenians, painted via NAZI SYBOLS etc... and it was so clear that presiden Kocaryan supports them, government supported them and world media was busy with this.

how can some people blind and believe some Armenians in this forum i just can not understand it!

Adviser of the Armenian Presidend RAZMIK DAVOYAN talked about TASNAKS marchs and attacks to Jewish people and said --->"We shouldnt sense it as "not hatred agains Jewish people, just we should sense it their obscurantism"... <------ WTF???? People breakes Jewish Associations windows, paints nazi symbols and MR DAVOYAN just tells its just youth's ignorance!!! oh my gosh... do you really admit so called Armenian Genocide and support them?!!

There is a book called 'National System' written by Armenian Romen Episkopasiyan. If you check this books 8. and 6. chapters, you will see, it begins like:
Today, there are two nationalities exist which includes badness and aggressiveness... these are : Jews, entrusted with a task as "Corrupt mission" terminator nation and Turks: entrusted with a task as terminator and corrputer

and armenian intellectuals admits that : this is a book will be really good and strong source for our next generation

here few more things about Turk-Jewish relations

http://www.tallarmeniantale.com/art-Jewish.htm

Jews of Turkey

(4) Debates in the Hebrew Press: Loyalty to the Ottoman Empire (5) Christian Anti-Semitism in the Ottoman Empire
Page Bottom: A few links to spots on the TAT site where Holdwater has "Jewish Reflections"

Turkey's Role as Savior of Many Jews

Reports on two unheralded Turkish Schindlers: Selahattin Ulkumen and Necdet Kent. A documentary ("Desperate Hours") relating how Turkey assisted some European Jews fleeing the Holocaust

Turks and Israelis

Fiercely anti-Turkish New York Times columnist William Safire suddenly became a pal when the two nations forged an alliance. (But not for long; the page segues into an examination of the hypocritical columnist.) A Small Backdrop on Relations, going back to 1949, when Turkey became the first Moslem nation to recognize Israel.

Jewish Turks — The Khazars

Are some Jews... in particular, the Ashkenazi, and even more in particular, Jews from Poland and Russia (that is, the Jews who aren't always crazy about Turks, ironically, as opposed to Sephardic Jews)... a Semitic people? Not necessarily!

Story of Turkish Jews

"The Turkish Jews are also identified as Sephardic Jews. This derives from the word Sepharad which in Hebrew means Spain." A Turkish-Jewish Israeli professor gives a wonderful and sometimes personal backdrop on the story. Learn why Turkish Jews (estimated at 100,000 in Israel) left Turkey for Israel, and the Turkish attitude to Jews

do you still hate us? (Turks)

I do not hate Turkey or the Turks, I have nothing but love and respect for the Turks.

Were else can I be welcomed by friendly people to see that which was strong, the once topless towers of Illium was mighty Troy. The Hagia Sofia is also a great sight to see in Turkey.

The only thing I have against the Turkish government is the anti-Kurdish policy. The Kurds simply want to break of in a small part of Turkey and become Kurdistan, like the Kurds in Iraq who want to break of were they are the majority and were Kurdistan was historically located.

The Kurds are very reasonable and will settle for less then their demands. If they were offered something reasonable the way the Palestinians constantly get offered they would be satisfied and there would be peace.

Turkey should give the Kurds a Camp David Style Offer. I am not saying cave into all of their demands like Barak did for the Palestinians, just meet them half way.

On the Armenian Genocide

The Turkish Army in World War One was usually very poorly supplied and rarely was able to stay supplied.

Now the Turkish Army also had a policy of moving civillian populations away from the fighting.

Thousands of people of all religions died because these temporary refugees that the Turks had every intention of bringing back to their homes after the battle was over would die because the Turkish Army would have nothing to give them as they were marched away from the area.

It wasn't genocide, it was an ironic case of the humane policy of trying to get civilians to not be killed due to battle getting them killed due to innadequate logistics, and incompetent officers working on what logistics there was.

30,000 jews died as a result of being made to run North when battles started around Tel Aviv and Jerusalem.

That however was not genocide, nor did the jews call it that, they called it is it was a tragedy that nobody wanted.

I think a similar thing happened with the Armenians but it was blown way out of proportian, and turned into bloodthirsty massacres instead of the incompetence in the Turkish Army.

Afterall people prefer to hear of a cold blooded massacre then to hear of a tragic amount of incompetence causing unintended deaths.

I think Mustafa Kemal himself got disentary at Gallipoli (SP), which shows just how incapable the Turkish Army was at supplying themselves, let alone refugees.

we are good with kurds. as a turk, i have many kurdish friends, iraqi irani or turkish kurds. but i have no power to change generals mind. we used to have Turgut Ozal as president in Turkey who supports Kurds and Kurdistan but he killed by generals, or spy. even if he couldnt change the system, we civilians can not...

I see, and I know that the Turkish people have nothing against the Kurds.

I said I like the Turks, and don't hold them responsible for anti-Kurdistan policy, just the few generals who dictate the policy.

Also I am wondering have you ever gone to see the ruins of Troy?

It is nice to literally walk through a legend.
