Shalom Atricnorth,

Your signature includes a Jewish villain. Harley Quinn's eventual fate is shown in the movie Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker. She disappeared, and was presumed dead, after falling into a deep crevasse during Batman final showdown with the Joker; however, a scene toward the end of the film reveals that she survived, settled down somewhere and started a family, with her granddaughters both called "Dee Dee" having joined the Jokerz Gang. http://www.wikimirror.com/Harley_Quinn

Hopefully, some members of the 12 tribes of Israel won't fall "into a deep crevise" as Bush and Sharon seem to be doing for lack of Jewish knowledge or feeling.

I was in Gaza with members of Likud's Central Committe about a month before they voted against Sharon's evacuation. Gush Katif gave us some t-shirts, potted plants, and a little history lesson:

K'far Darom Then and Now (K’far Darom, Then and Now)

K’far Darom is located in the region of Gerar, where our forefathers, Avraham, Yitzhak and Ya’akov lived and is included in the area alloted to Shevet Yehuda. The name K’far Darom is mentioned in the Talmud, Sotah 20: , “Rabbi Elazar ben Yitzhak of K’far Darom” and through several permutations over hundreds of years, gave neigboring Dir-El-Balah its name.

More recently, in úø"ö (1930), the land on which K’far Darom is situated was purchased by Tuviah Miller, a wealthy citrus grower. He drained the swamps, dug a well, planted a successful date palm plantation and fruit grove. During the Arab riots of úøö"å-úøö"è (1936-39), all was destroyed.

In úù"ä (1945) the JNF bought the land from Tuviah Miller with the intent of establishing settlement. The day after Yom Kippur úù"æ 1946 the founding group from the Religious Kibbutz Movement began building Kibbutz K’far Darom, one of the 11 settlements, Points of the Negev, founded overnight with the aim of keeping the Negev in Jewish hands in preparation for the future Jewish state, in spite of opposition from the British Mandate.

During the War of Independence the newly founded settlement of K’far Darom was forced to struggle for its survival. After three months of fierce fighting the settlement was almost completely destroyed. The fighters’ morale was high and they were willing to continue, but the order came from the higher ranks- immediate withdrawal. These three months gave the other forces valuable time to arrange strategies. “We knew that if K’far Darom couldn’t endure, and the enemy reached Yad Mordechai, then Tel Aviv would be endangered… Only history will be able to judge accurately the contribution that K’far Darom made during the War of Independence…” (Moshe Netzer, Commander of the Second Palmach Platoon.)

In úù"ì (1970), a platoon of Nahal, fighting pioneer youth, returned to K’far Darom and Nahal K’far Darom was founded. After the Yom Kippur War for 20 years the Nahal base served as a preparatory camp for people continuing on to other settlements in Gush Katif.

The K’far Darom of today was founded as Torah-oriented settlement at a ground breaking ceremony During Succot úù"ï (1989). Shortly after the Torah and Land Institute, whose halachic research and practical studies of the Commandments Dependant on the Land of Israel are world renowned was founded.

During the first and second Intifada five members of K’far Darom were killed. Doron Shorshan, HaRav Shimon Biran, Ephraim Ayoobi, Gabi Biton and Miri Amitai, HY”D. These were painful blows and our answer was that of faith and action: the area of the settlement increased and a wave of new families arrived, and continues to arrive every year. Other projects include Kollel Tal Orot in the name of the fallen members of K’far Darom, finishing the K’far Darom Synagogue and constant development of the Torah and Land Institute.

K’far Darom features The Alei Katif vegetable packing plant and the Yerak Neto chilled vegetable factory, the largest of their kind in Israel providing consumers throughout Israel and the world with millions of packages a year of vegetables grown adhering to the strictest standards of kashrut. K’far Darom includes a wide range of educational institutions, all with a emphasis on Torah and settling the Land of Israel: child-care facililties from age three months, kindergartens, a Talmud Torah for boys and a Girls' School, the latter two comprising first through eighth grade.

During the past four years over 40 new families have joined, more than doubling the population of K’far Darom. Seeing children playing on the grounds of this flourishing settlement, a new generation full of Emunah, continuing what the first settlers began, is one of the clearest signs that K’far Darom and the settlement of Gush Katif as a whole is here to stay.

andTribes come home (http://www.cohen-levi.org/the_tribe/tribes_of_israel.htm#07)

There is another process of return which is meant to accompany the physical return of the Tribes of Israel to their Promised Land - that is a process of spiritual return.

Jewish identity, preserved for centuries, is being forfeited by many modern Jews for lack of Jewish knowledge or feeling. A heritage and a people which have survived history and contributed so much to the world - as promised and as prophesized - deserves a serious hearing.

Today's lost tribes of Israel are not in Afghanistan or the Far East; they are the Jews getting lost in the suburbs, in the universities, and in the corporate chase.

A movement of spiritual return to Jewish roots and values is needed to help prevent these Jews and their descendants from becoming lost from the Tribe.

The Biblical Borders of Israel have little to do with present Israel. Israel does not have anything to conquer. Israel just needs to keep itself safe and alive, and the Arabs need to leave it alone.

hehehe, thats a good point

i wish arabs could understand that statement, coz they want the whole thing as a whole.

remember they want israel out to the sea and no land. they want it all.

by that, i would reconsider any negotiation or this worthless pullout which only inflames the hearts of hamas and other factions.

according to jpost, they want ashkelon abbandoned as well, reasoning and educating them is like pinning a tail on a donkey. i kid you not.

muslims dont like hostages or extra baggage. check the history of hostage crisis and the pyschology of terrorists.

try telling that to bush and sharon, they need "REEDUCATION" in israelian history, pray for sharon and bush to reconsider their ways, it is not too late, there is still 40 days left.

i be praying and fasting as well. who wants to fast and pray. wanna pray together ?. we did this in church and lives were change. i believe so for israel regardless whether
god will not leave you not forsake you. believe it so, god will deliver you. when the god deliver the israelites from egypt.
