I saw some morons selling canned air from Israel once. And I don't mean CFC free dusters either. No crazier than holy water, I guess.
Oh snap, no you dint......
"And that's why they hate us Haim..."
One of my Palestinian friends wants to be a comedian. We had an idea of creating a comedy spoof where we would sell "sand from the holy land" on the home shopping network and I would have a thick NY Jewish accent. "Look at the American Jew and Palestinian trying to profit off the homeland!" We wanted to have extremely pregnant Jewish and Arab women manning the phone lines and when we would introduce a new bottle of sand and tell the audience the location, we would open up the bible and read passages about the location. During the intermission, we planned entertainment with dancing Chabad rabbis and on occasion, my friend and I would get into arguments and call each other racial slurs, but then we would start to get along again when it came time to introduce the next product. Only a few of our friends thought it was funny, so we ended up not doing it.

That's great!
Sounds like the discussions I have with my Muslim friends....such macabre humor only comes when you can really overcome your differences and laugh at the small things like this. Great job...and funny story.
