"Andrew Sullivan posted a transcript previously, but it's definitely worth hearing this audio of a woman named Chen Keinan whose mother and infant daughter were killed in the Petah Tikva bombing the week before last.
It's obvious that CNN would never broadcast this part of the interview and interesting to think about why."
(sorry but the asx link doesn't transfer or map to a seperate link)

My heart reaches out for the poor woman. So sad!
She’s left with the loss of her loved ones and I’m left with hate.

Chen Keinan makes some powerful statements and some insightful points, but when the international media blocks them from being voiced we know nothing will change. The order of the day is to make Israel the one who is brutalizing the "poor, pathetic Palestinians" instead of "Israel the defender of the innocent and the champion of true freedom."
I was pleased to see the strong stand the US Administration (excepting Colin Powell) has taken for Israel. I expect Arafat will do nothing different and Israel will have to continue it's fight for freedom. Time will tell.

Anyone thought about mailing all that to Alan Keyes?

Ambassasdor Keyes was the guest of honor at an event in our area on Friday. Quite an impressive and persuasive man.

Perhaps it's time the GIA will wake up and will take some action in France...
The IRA in England
The Jihad in Egypt
Abu Sayaf in Indonesia
etc etc....

It's been a few weeks now but Chen Kienan still has to go the rest of her life without her baby (and mother).

I wonder what would a palestinian mother have to say after israeli army buldozed her child.

as opposed to singing praise after s/he blows up some kids?

your problem is you are full of hatred. you just don't give a damn about any other live than israeli one.

No my problem is I refuse to see my enemy as anything other than that. Show me a Palistanian mother who weeps for the victims of her own children and I'll bleed for them. Until then, no.

with such an attitude, you are destined to be a loser. confront it with your "noble" signature sentence. why don't you go and fight your enemy in occupied territories, you hero? if you consider children and women your enemies, your job will be easy, just rent a tank or something big and go kill defenseless people. you'll feel good, believe me.

zidak,
Are you talking about the Palestinian suicide bombers who target Israeli high-school students and grandmothers pushing their grandchildren's strollers at shopping malls and bus stops?

Zidak,
First of all, please explain what "Acts of Terror" the Israeli Army is guilty of besides arresting militants. No one in this discussion board likes the killing of innocent civilians on either side, the difference is: Palestinian militants purposely hunt down the defenceless while the IDF tries to only target people with weapons aimed at them or innocent Israelis, unfortunately, civilians (normally used as human shields by terrorists) get in the way.
And, I would suggest that unless you are an Israeli, a Palestinian, or you have friends or family on either side (both of which I have), I think we all would suggest that you go and at least research the historical facts that led to this situation, instead of spouting out ignorant rhetoric that you pick up from word of mouth or watching Al Jazeera.

Perhaps you should take some time to get to know what you are talking about before you spew. The truth is only those "on the Israeli side" seem to value all human life. The Palestinians seem to relish teh destruction of any who disagree with them. Which camp do you fall in?

And when was such a thing done? In reality, not in a sick person's imagination?

The issue is that there is a difference between fighting a war and hurting civilians during it, and Targeting civilians.
Any civilian getting hurt is a bad thing, but when one side TARGETS civilians it is unacceptable.
Of course some palestinians are getting hurt when IDF is entering palestinian cities to catch terrorists, but IDF does not target civilians but terrorists. The complexity is even bigger when terorrists are actually civilians and the use other civillians as shield. It's unfortunate but (in my opinion) there is no other option.
I admit, when I come to view a situation, I prefer having several innecent palestinians killed then 1 of my civilians or soldiers. The palestinians feels the same (just like anyone in the world) - so you can't expect me to feel sorry for them when I do it for self defense.
Besides, when you hurt a bigger kid, you know you're going to get some serious blows. If you'll hurt him too bad he might even inflict unreversable critical wounds to you. So you learn, from early age, not to mess around with much bigger kids, and no one will accept your complains if you initiated the fight in the first place. Same here. Israel is bigger and stronger then the palestinians (with all thier big friends around) so logic says they keep low profile and try get what they want using public opinion. If they choose to start a war they can't win - they have ALL the blame. Absolutly all of it. period.
