Only in America: Pennsylvania ghost to compete with new synagogue (http://start.earthlink.net/article/nat?guid=20050905/431bc2c0_3421_1334520050905265923291)

To avoid TOS violations, I've posted the link to the entire article above.

An Orthodox Jewish rabbi plans to develop a supposedly haunted inn into a synagogue, community center and upscale kosher restaurant.

Rabbi Shraga Sherman, director of Chabad Lubavitch of the Main Line, is spearheading the $1.5 million (euro1.2 million) renovation to give his growing congregation a new home in the Philadelphia suburbs.

Whether the new tenants will be welcomed by Wilhelm, the Hessian soldier who is one of several reported apparitions at the Colonial-era landmark, remains to be seen.

However, the rabbi doesn't seem intimidated. The only spirits he is going to be concerned with, Sherman said, are those of his congregants.

Seriously, this sounds like something from the Twilight Zone.
